When Does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 End?

Chapter 4 Season 2 of Fortnite was originally scheduled to end on Friday, June 2. Epic Games announced at the end of April that the season finale would be delayed by exactly one week. The new end date of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is now on Friday, June 9 at 2 AM ET.

The one-week extension is not a huge delay when it comes to the duration of Chapter 4 Season 2. Fortnite seasons typically last just short of three months, and this delay would place the current season at 91 days since it began on March 10. To compare it with previous seasons, the longest Fortnite season would be Chapter 2 Season 1 at 128 days, and it was extended as well.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Start?

While there is no confirmed date and time for when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 will exactly begin, a new season will typically begin hours after the previous one has ended. Fortnite is briefly taken offline for maintenance once a season has ended, with matchmaking disabled an hour before for the players' benefit, and is back online after an update a few hours later. Knowing this, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 should be live on Friday, June 9, sometime in the morning at ET time.

No details about the new season have been announced, though dataminers have found that a new biome could be coming to Chapter 4 Season 3. Dataminers have also found that a Doctor Who collaboration is in the works for the game. However, only a few potential details are available and could come in a future season to coincide with the new Doctor Who television season later this year.

Fortnite is now available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
