Several days ago, it appeared as if Fortnite's third Twitch Prime Pack leaked online, seemingly confirming the new Archetype Gear that would be included with the forthcoming cosmetic package for the multiplayer sandbox survival shooter. Now, however, a new update to the game's daily cosmetic Item Shop by Epic Games added the Archetype skin and other pieces of the alleged Twitch Prime Pack 3 to the store, which disproves the contents of the aforementioned leak.

As seen in the tweet from the official Fortnite Twitter account below, the Archetype Gear set can be acquired now in the multiplayer game's Item Shop. While the Archetype skin isn't legendary, it will set players back 1500 V-Bucks, while the full set for the Archetype Servo glider and Caliper pickaxe will cost 1200 V-Bucks and 500 V-Bucks, respectively. Of course, the Item Shop was updated with other gear, too, so players might want to save their earnings for the likes of the Snorkel Ops and Survival Specialist Skins, the Tooth Pick pickaxe, the Hot Rod glider, and more.

With the new Archetype Gear currently available for Fortnite players to acquire, it will be interesting to see what Epic Games has planned for the title's Twitch Prime Pack 3. The cosmetic design that was offered in the package for Season 4's loadout focused on a camo-colored and military theme, so perhaps the next loot bundle will adhere closer to Season 5's "Worlds Collide" conceit, which opens the door to a load of possibilities.

All things considered, with Epic Games continually updating Fortnite's Item Shop and keeping players coming back for more with new items, new modes, fresh Weekly Challenges, and more, it makes sense as to why the battle royale craze has yet to slow down. And with Epic eyeing a summer 2018 launch for the title on Android devices, it's safe to presume that Fortnite's audience will continue to grow ever larger.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with an Android release coming at some point during summer 2018.
