Since Fortnite has been the Season 3 update, fans have been excited about the changes Epic Games will be implementing to the game. However, it seems that there may still be more reveals coming from the developer as leaks show another POI that has yet to be released to players: Aquaman's underwater home of Atlantis.
Since the regular Fortnite map became flooded, players have been seeing a whole new side to the game and having to adapt to a whole new layout. Fortnite has taken a unique direction with the new waterlogged arena. While players are happy with what they've seen so far, data miners say that the fans haven't seen everything yet.
Data miners have been scouring the map to try to find secrets in the game or hints to future additions that developers are building in the game. Specifically, these data miners are looking under the water, since future sea levels will be will be moving up and down. In such a aquatic-centric season, it only makes sense that any secrets that the map would be lurking just below the surface. While doing this, one of these data miners discovered a new Fortnite leak.
A data miner by the name of LunakisLeaks posted a video a huge underwater canyon, and while it's currently empty, it seems like the perfect place to do some building. The canyon area is encrypted and named POI_TheRuins_Falls. At the time this is being written, players can't get to this area yet due to how hidden it is on the map. The data miner revealed a video of their character running around on the floor of the underwater canyon, citing this as the future site for the city of Atlantis.
While there has been no word about future Fortnite POIs from Epic Games, there usually isn't any word from the company until the POIs drop in the game. Fans can't be sure what this new area entails, but it will be interesting to see what Epic Games does with the space.
While this area has been discovered before by other data miners, LunakisLeaks' video allows fans to see the space up and decide for themselves whether or not this is spot is going to be the site of Aquaman's home in Fortnite.
