A new season has begun for Fortnite players bringing some new changes and features to the battle royale. Compared to previous additions in the first season of Chapter 2, Epic Games has stayed away from extensively modifying the map with today's release. Of course, with the arrival of Chapter 2, Season 2 comes a new battle pass and weekly challenges to get players off to an XP-filled start.

This morning's update provides the first set of tasks based off the new spy theme. From a new challenge table, players can scan the details of currently available challenges and their location on the in-game map. These challenges are not locked and can be completed in any order, but one of the first that players should do is a simple task of landing at three locations: Apres Ski, Lockie's Lighthouse, and Mount Kay which are located at opposite corners of the map.

Apres Ski Location

Apres Ski is a ski lodge and the southernmost landmark that players need to land at. The area is located to the southwest of Misty Meadows, a popular area for previous weekly challenges, to the right of a snow-covered hill. For players still unsure of where to land, there is a neon "DANCE" sign on the front of the building and several spotlights illuminating the lodge during day and night.

Lockie's Lighthouse Location

Players can find Lockie's Lighthouse in the northwest corner of the map. The lighthouse is situated far northwest of Pleasant Park and directly east of one new point-of-interest, The Shark. Already visible when dropping from the battle bus, gliding over to this area is perhaps the easiest part of the challenge. Note that players don't have to land directly on the lighthouse, sticking the landing anywhere nearby will give credit. If players do drop directly on Lockie's Lighthouse, they must jump wisely to prevent becoming a pancake below.

Mount Kay Location

The final place where the Fortnite challenge requires landing at is Mount Kay. The mountain is the other landmark located in the southern part of the map, far east of Misty Meadows and the Apres Ski lodge. Dropping anywhere on the slope or small station set up near the peak should give credit, but players who don't want to take any chances should attempt their landing at Mount Kay's peak where an orange flag is planted.

Once players have successfully landed at all three locations, they will receive a massive boost of XP to help earn some good-looking skins. Note that since credit is only given upon landing, it will take a minimum of three games to drop at Apres Ski, Lockie's Lighthouse, and Mount Kay.

Fortnite is available now on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
