It’s a new week for Fortnite Season 6 and with that comes a handful of new challenges to complete. As with past weeks, many of the challenges are self-explanatory but there are a few that players could be having trouble with. For example, there is a challenge that requires consuming apples, but not everybody knows the best place to find the healing items.

Apples are mostly found in the Eastern part of the map, so those Fortnite players who choose to land in hot zones like Tilted Towers may only seem them when rotating with the storm. But the good news is that the apple spawns are clumped together enough that players should be able to run through and eat 5 of them within a single game, provided they aren’t killed first or pilfered by opponents.

This isn’t the first time that apples have popped up as a weekly challenge and it likely won’t be the last. However, it’s important to point out that this challenge (along with a few others this and every week) is part of the Battle Pass, meaning players will need to purchase Fortnite’s Battle Pass in order to unlock and complete it. In turn, those players will earn experience towards unlocking the Battle Pass-specific cosmetics for Season 6.

Apples are a relatively new healing item for Fortnite, introduced back in Season 4. These healing items are a one-off consumable that are found in the wild and will give players a 5-point boost to their HP. In most cases, apples are a nice little boost while traveling between landmarks, but they aren’t going to influence any major swings. It wasn’t long after that Fortnite added mushrooms, which boost players’ shields by 5 points.

Other challenges of note from this week include dealing 500 points of headshot damage, destroying 50 trees, and eliminating enemies in Pleasant Park. It should be a relatively quick week for both regular Fortnite players and those that own the Season 6 Battle Pass.

Fortnite is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
