Fortnite is currently in Week 8 of its alien-invasion-themed season. There are many new additions to the battle royale game that are certainly shaking up how players can win a match, such as the new IO tech weapons, an inflatable cow costume, and controllable UFOs. There are also new collectibles called Alien Artifacts that are scatted throughout the island, which players can grab each week.
For Fortnite Season 7, Week 8, Epic Games is adding even more Alien Artifacts for players to grab. This guide will show players the locations of all five new Alien Artifacts so that they can earn extra XP and new styles for the Kymera skin. However, players should be aware that the Alien Artifacts are not live in the game yet as of the time of writing. The artifacts will be live once the Epic quests for Week 8 are available. So, before searching for the Alien Artifacts and possibly wasting time, gamers should ensure that the latest artifacts are actually live.
Fortnite Week 8 Alien Artifact Locations
As for how to actually collect the Alien Artifacts, all players simply need to touch it. These artifacts can then be used to change out the styles for the Kymera skin, which was added with this new season.
- Alien Artifact #1 (East of Pleasant Park): The first Alien Artifact is located underneath a large stone just east of Pleasant Park. There will be a purple-colored section on the map, and the artifact will be on the side of a hill.
- Alien Artifact #2 (West of Boney Burbs): Players can find this Alien Artifact right on the ground near some trees and rocks.
- Alien Artifact #3 (Southeast of Corny Complex): Fortnite players can grab this artifact at an IO base. In the northwestern corner of the base, the artifact will be underneath one of the metal structures.
- Alien Artifact #4 (East of Slurpy Swamp): East of Slurpy Swamp is a small point of interest with a warehouse. The fourth Alien Artifact will be suspended in the air in the middle of the room. Players should easily be able to build up to grab it or jump in from the roof after breaking the ceiling.
- Alien Artifact #5 (East of Misty Meadows): The fifth and final Alien Artifact for Week 8 can be found underneath a small wooden bridge outside of Misty Meadows.
