Players that want to unlock all of the Kymera skin customizations in Fortnite Season 7 will need to obtain a fairly large quantity of Alien Artifacts. The primary way to go about collecting this currency is to find it scattered across the map, and indeed it seems that a new batch of Alien Artifacts will be added to the game each week. This is set to occur for the third week of Fortnite Season 7, and this guide will detail the locations of all of the new Alien Artifacts.

To note, the Week 3 Alien Artifacts in Fortnite will become available alongside the release of the Week 3 Epic and Legendary Quests. It is believed that those challenges will appear on Thursday, June 24, though last week's Quests were released slightly earlier than was expected. That said, players should confirm that they have access to the new weekly challenges before they visit the locations shown below, as those that do not may end up wasting a bit of time.

Fortnite Season 7: Alien Artifact Locations (Week 3)

fortnite week 3 alien artifact locations

  • Alien Artifact 1 (Coral Castle): Players should make their way to the top floor of Coral Castle's central building. The Alien Artifact is just above the stone obelisk that is situated there.
  • Alien Artifact 2 (Craggy Cliffs): There is a structure with three tall garage doors near the beach at the northeast corner of Craggy Cliffs. The second Alien Artifact is in one of the boats that is suspended inside of this building.
  • Alien Artifact 3 (Boney Burbs): This Alien Artifact is in the central structure found at Boney Burbs. Fortnite fans should look for it in a room with destroyed walls adjacent to the exterior staircase.
  • Alien Artifact 4 (Slurpy Swamp): The final of this week's Alien Artifacts is located in a small building to the north of the main factory in Slurpy Swamp. Players can enter this building directly through a door at its north end, or they can use the walkway that extends from the central structure.

With these new additions, players can now collect a total of 14 Alien Artifacts just through exploring the map. These are not the only Alien Artifacts that fans can earn, though, as it also possible to loot them from Cosmic Chests in Fortnite. For the uninitiated, Cosmic Chests can be found in Duos, Trios, and Squad matches, and players that want to unlock Kymera customizations ahead of schedule should consider organizing a team that is focused on opening them.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
