It won't be too much longer until Fortnite fans will be able to experience all that the start of Season 7 has to offer, with Epic Games having already teased the addition of some new winter-themed content and activities such as skiing. Now, it looks as if the developer has even more in store for fans of its wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival title, with Epic now hinting that airplanes and zip-lines could be coming to the game.

As seen in the tweet below, Epic Games teases that fans will be able to "ascend to new heights" in Fortnite Battle Royale after tomorrow's Season 7 update, with an accompanying image showing off a character in the foreground zip-lining to their destination. Additionally, should one look closely, they will notice a tiny biplane in the background flying near some jagged ice, indicating that aircrafts could be coming as well.

For those who haven't been keeping up with the ongoing updates in Fortnite, Epic has previously brought airborne modes of transportation into the title, with the developer having added Balloons in the past. However, should airplanes be in the cards, then not only would it be the first instance of an actual piloted craft making its way into the game, but also it would confirm a leak from last month that Epic would be adding a "Bumblebee" aerial vehicle.

All things considered, with Epic Games continually providing such sumptuous updates to Fortnite, it's safe to say that the developer will keep raking in the money and grow its already gargantuan $1 billion in revenue from microtransactions. However, it remains to be seen if the Battle Royale craze will actually be able to sustain itself into the near future. If not, then for the sake of Epic, it hopefully has another idea for a blockbuster title up its sleeves.

Fortnite is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
