Over the past several months, Diplo has appeared numerous times in Fortnite as part of its Party Royale DJ residency. The popular DJ/producer is now set to conclude his residency with one final performance, dubbed Diplo Presents: Higher Ground, and Epic Games is commemorating the occasion by giving players the chance to earn the free, "music-reactive" Afterparty Wrap.

Diplo Presents: Higher Ground, which is described as a "deep house musical show featuring trance-inducing, sophisticated beats," will take place at Fortnite's Party Royale Main Stage on Friday, July 31 at 2pm EDT. Furthermore, there will be a full rebroadcast of the set on Monday, August 3 at 9pm EDT, and players should expect the performance to last approximately 30 minutes.

With respect to exactly how players can experience Higher Ground for themselves, all they need to do is navigate to Battle Royale, select Fortnite's Party Royale playlist, and make their way to the Main Stage at one of the aforementioned times. Notably, fans need not be in game promptly when the set starts, as it is indeed possible to join the event when it is already in progress.

When it comes to the Afterparty Wrap, this new cosmetic will be granted to all players that login between Thursday, July 30 at 8pm EDT and Saturday, August 1 at 8pm EDT. This means that Fortnite fans will be able to bring the Afterparty Wrap to Higher Ground if they wish to, though attendance at the event is not required in order to obtain it.

For those players that really want to attend Diplo Presents: Higher Ground in style, a new set of music-reactive Outfits will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting on July 30 at 8pm EDT. Additionally, the Back Scratcher Back Bling and Light Knives Pickaxe will appear in the Shop at the same time, and indeed they also respond to music.

As it stands, Higher Ground is the last performance on the Party Royale schedule, and it thus something that many players will not want to miss. That said, fans that are not able attend will almost certainly have opportunities to enjoy concerts in Fortnite in the future, as they are not extremely unusual occurrences.

Fortnite is available now Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
