Fortnite's alien-themed season is well underway, and, of course, it brings along new quests and challenges every single week for players to complete for bonus XP. One of Season 7 Week 4's Epic quests comes from a character named Human Bill, who is definitely not an actual human. He gives Fortnite players the task of grabbing one of the UFOs on the map and then abducting another player with its traction beam.
This guide will go over how to find a UFO and then how to actually abduct an opponent with one of its useful features.
Where are the Fortnite UFOs?
Before players can abduct an enemy player, they will first need to get their hands on one of Fortnite's newest features for Season 7: UFOs. There are 5 key locations where players can grab a UFO easily unless other players get to them first. For the sake of this guide, the images below will show the location of the UFO that is southeast of the Corny Complex point of interest. It's sitting underneath a green-colored steel bridge, hiding amongst some foliage. Of course, if players want to head somewhere else, that's fine. There's a UFO at Steamy Stacks, Dirty Docks, Camp Cod, and one south of Holly Hedges.
Once players get close to the UFO, they can simply press the interact button to hop inside, and once they do, they should immediately fly up into the air by using the back right trigger. Another player can start to shoot at the UFO, which can cause it to be destroyed. Being up in the air will keep players mostly safe from players down below and will allow folks to get a feel for the controls.
How to Abduct an Opponent with a Saucer Tractor Beam
Now, to complete the quest, players will need to use this UFO to abduct an opponent. Using the tractor beam is simple enough, but actually getting a player inside of it can be a hassle. The beam will appear by pressing the left bumper, sucking up any object that stands in its path, even players. For this to work properly, players will also need to be fairly close to the ground, which can cause concern since other players can shoot the UFO down more easily.
Players will need to fly around the Fortnite map until they find an unsuspecting enemy on the field. Go down close to them and begin the abduction process. If the player takes notice and attempts to hide inside a building, using the UFOs blaster with the right bumper will come in handy, as it can destroy parts of a building.
Once players complete the quest, they will be rewarded with 30K XP. Luckily, players will only need to abduct a player for a single second for the quest to be counted. Even if a player ends up shooting down the UFO, the XP will still be gained.
