Fortnite fans are used to completing a new set of challenges every week, but lately they've had even more on their plate than usual. That's thanks to the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges that Epic Games has added to celebrate the holiday season, with each day bringing with it both a new challenge and a new reward for completing that challenge.

Here is how to complete all of the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges in Fortnite.

Day 1 - Start or join a Creative server

This is easy enough, and it's one of the only challenges that doesn't require players to play the actual battle royale portion of the game. To complete this challenge, simply go to Creative Mode and either start a server or join someone else's server. It's literally a matter of clicking around in the menus and should only take a few moments.

Day 2 - Visit giant candy canes

On the second day of the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges, players have to visit at least two giant candy canes. These giant candy canes are dotted around the battle royale map, typically on top of mountains. The easiest way to complete this challenge is by commandeering a plane, and then using the plane to fly to both of the candy canes. This doesn't have to be done in one match, but it can be easily.

Day 3 - Play matches with a friend

For this challenge, players have to play three separate matches with a friend. That's really all there is to it.

Day 4 - Hit a player with a snowball in different matches

Before players can go for this challenge, they have to unlock the snowball toy emote in Fortnite. While most emote toys are unlocked by completing battle pass challenges, the snowball is unlocked by doing the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges, meaning players may be unable to unlock it at all if they don't participate in the festivities. To unlock the snowball in Fortnite, complete the Day 3 challenge of playing three matches with friends. Afterwards, just hit any players with a snowball - both friends and enemies count for the challenge, but be aware that this has to be done in four separate matches. And don't forget to equip the snowball toy emote in the locker before starting up a game!

Day 5 - Fly through golden rings in an X-4 Stormwing plane

fortnite golden rings

Five. Golden. Rings. Golden rings can be found all over the battle royale map in Fortnite, and to complete this challenge, players need to fly through five of them. Like the giant candy canes, Fortnite fans don't have to go through all of the golden rings in one match, but it can be done rather easily if they get a plane early on and focus mainly on completing the challenge. Perhaps the best place to land would be Frosty Flights, as there are at least four golden rings in the winter biome that players could collect, and then it would just be a matter of flying to whichever ring is nearest to the circle.

Day 6 - Search waterside goose nests

This challenge has been giving players some trouble, but the gist of it is that goose nests will spawn near bodies of water in the game. There appears to be a bit of randomness to it, but as long as players just search the bodies of water, particularly the ones marked on the map, they should be able to find waterside goose nests eventually. The ponds in Dusty Divot are also worth checking out. After locating a waterside goose nest, search through it like it was a treasure chest, and the challenge will be complete when this is done a total of six times.

Day 7 - Use Boogie Bombs or Presents!

fortnite presents

Boogie Bombs are rare grenades that can make other players dance uncontrollably. Presents, meanwhile, are a new item that create large Christmas presents with loot inside them. Presents are harder to find than Boogie Bombs, but it doesn't matter which of the two items players use as long as they manage to throw at least seven of them.

Day 8 - Damage opponents with different weapons

The Day 8 challenge in the 14 Days of Fortnite is pretty self-explanatory. As the challenge states, players need to deal damage to opponents using eight different weapons in the game. Anyone having trouble keeping track may want to write down the weapons they've used so far to save them some time and trouble later on.

Day 9 - Dance in front of different Holiday Trees

For the Day 9 challenge in Fortnite's 14 Days of Fortnite, players have to dance in front of nine different holiday trees. Luckily, there are a lot more than nine on the map, and basically every single named location has a tree.

Here are 11 named locations with holiday trees that players can dance in front of, though remember that only nine are necessary.

  • Dusty Divot – Located outside of the diner on the north side.
  • Fatal Fields – Next to the large farmhouse in the middle of the area, making it especially hard to miss.
  • Frosty Flights – The tree is located between the two hangars.
  • Happy Hamlet – Southeast corner of the area.
  • Lazy Links – Near the tennis courts.
  • Lonely Lodge – Outside of the titular lodge.
  • Lucky Landing – At the main gate.
  • Paradise Palms – The tree can be found on the deck of the large skyscraper.
  • Pleasant Park – Northwest corner of town.
  • Retail Row – In the middle of the area.
  • Tilted Towers – At the basketball court.

Day 10 - Land tricks in a vehicle at different named locations

The Day 10 challenge in Fortnite tasks players with landing tricks in a vehicle at 10 different named locations on the map. The easiest way to do this would be with the quadcrasher vehicle, but it can also be pulled off with the golf carts. At any rate, players don't have to rack up a high score or anything with the vehicle, just do a trick (it could be as simple as a backflip) and land it.

Quadcrashers can be found all over the battle royale map, and golf carts always spawn at Lazy Links. Players just need to be sure to keep track of all the named locations where they've already landed a trick so they can complete this challenge a little easier.

Day 11 - Thank the bus driver in different matches

Fortnite Thank The Bus Driver

For this challenge, Fortnite players need to thank the bus driver in 11 different matches. On Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, this can be done by pushing down on the d-pad while in the battle bus as its floating over the map. On PC using a mouse and keyboard setup, players will need to push B on the keyboard. And if playing the game on iOS or Android mobile devices, players just need to touch the emote icon on the right side of the screen to thank the bus driver. Do this 11 times and players will successfully complete the Day 11 of the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges.

Day 12 - Destroy snowflake decorations

For the Day 12 challenge of the 14 Days of Fortnite, Fortnite players will want have to destroy 12 snowflake decorations. Luckily, snowflake decorations are in plentiful supply all over the battle royale map, though the easiest place to complete this challenge is Tilted Towers. Players may want to land elsewhere and then travel to Tilted Towers later in the match - as the place is notoriously dangerous - but otherwise, it's a good place to land to find snowflake decorations. Using the map above, players should be able to find more than 12 without much issue.

Day 13 - Place Devices on a Creative Island

For the Day 13 challenge in the 14 Days of Fortnite, players need to return to Creative Mode and place 13 devices on a Creative Island. Players don't have to actually put any effort into their creations, they just have to slap 13 devices on an island and leave the server to complete the challenge.

Day 14 - Search Chests

The final 14 Days of Fortnite challenge requires players to search 14 chests. While this may seem time-consuming, it really shouldn't take that long, especially if players land in areas with plenty of chests. The named areas that have the most potential chest spawn locations are Frosty Flights, Happy Hamlet, and Paradise Palms, so anyone looking to complete the Day 14 challenge for the 14 Days of Fortnite may want to focus their search efforts in those areas.

Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
