Gear can play a hugely important role in Forspoken, particularly for those who are playing the game on some of the harder difficulty settings. There are three types that players will need to consider, these being Cloaks, Nail Designs, and Necklaces. There are 15 of the latter available throughout the course of the game (17, if pre-order bonuses are included), though two of these are missable.

The best Necklaces in Forspoken can make a huge difference to the way that Frey performs in combat, with many offering unique skills and effects to help make life easier for players. The following guide will explain where to find every necklace in Forspoken, while also providing information about their bonus effects and some thoughts on which Necklaces may be worth seeking out.

As mentioned above, two of the Necklaces in Forspoken are missable, so completionists may want to keep this in mind. Thankfully, neither the Nemeni Prisaha nor the Naee Aasha is needed to unlock the Kit and Caboodle Trophy/Achievement, so those who do miss out on one or both of these Necklaces can still unlock it.

Which is the Best Necklace in Forspoken?

forspoken-best-necklaces-home-sweet-hell

As is the case with the other two types of gear in the game, the best Necklace in Forspoken will vary quite a bit from player to player. This is because each one has been designed to complement a different playstyle, meaning that what works for some players might not be ideal for others. That said, certain Necklaces are objectively better than others, including the aptly named Home Sweet Hell. This craftable Necklace boasts three very useful skills where many others have only one or even zero.

For players who don't just spam flow to avoid taking damage, Sooth is an excellent choice, particularly when paired with something like the Unsurpassable Cloak (unlocked by completing the Niccoline Guild in the South Plateau area of Visoria). Those who opt for a critical hit build should instead look to the Balle Balle, which, when combined with the Unbroken Cloak (craftable after purchasing the Sewing Kit item from the Curiosity Shop in Inner Visoria for 64 Old Coins) and the Spectrum Nail Design (unlocked by defeating the Deinosuchus Abomination in the Moulderings area of Avoalet), can be absolutely deadly.

Forspoken is available now on PS5 and PC.
