Forspoken features a wide variety of spells for Frey to use during her journey through Athia. From combat to traversal, these spells cover nearly every mechanic in the game. These spells come in four sets, color-coded to match the Tantas they are associated with. While many spells will be either given to Frey when she receives a new set or available for purchase in the skill tree, there are several that are only available through special areas known as Founts of Blessing.

These twelve unique fountains can be found throughout the world of Forspoken, with each providing Frey with a single unique spell. And while finding each fountain is not required to complete the game, the various skills and enhancements they provide are more than worth the time needed to find them.

Fount of Blessing in the 'Somewhere Near Cipal' Region

Forspoken-Founts-Leap-Frey

Area: The Barren Plains

Type: Mulberry Fount

Fast Trave: Barren Plains Refuge

Spell Awarded: Leap

Magic: Frey's Purple Magic

This Fount is not difficult to find. It is located in the "Somewhere Near Cipal" region and is one of the earliest available in Forspoken. 'Leap' provides a much-needed tool for traversing the Athain landscape and should be found as early as possible.

Founts of Blessing in the Praenost Region

Forspoken-Shimmy-Frey

Area: The Citadel

Type: Mulberry Fount

Fast Travel: Citadel: Eastern Refuge or Citadel: Western Refuge

Spell Awarded: Shimmy

Magic: Frey's Purple Magic

This Mulberry Fount is located in the northeastern corner of The Citadel region. It provides the 'Shimmy' skill, which allows Frey to boost her speed while using 'Flow.' This skill will make those long trips across Forspoken's open-world much faster.

Area: Brass Hollow

Type: Mulberry Fount

Fast Travel: Brass Hollow Belfry or Brass Hollow Refuge

Spell Awarded: Burrow

Magic: Frey's Purple Magic

This Fount can be a little tricky to get to early in the game, but players who have upgraded Frey's traversal mechanics should have no problem. It is located in the eastern section of Brass Hollow and awards Frey with the 'Burrow' skill. This lets Frey cast a wide AOE spell that picks up all items nearby. This can be an extremely fast way to gather materials after clearing large groups of enemies.

Area: The Mustering Ground

Type: Rosewood Fount

Fast Travel: Mustering Ground Belfry

Spell Awarded: Beacon

Magic: Sila's Red Magic

The Mustering Ground is located in the furthest reaches of southern Praenost, near the bottom of the map. Players that find themselves frequently running out of stamina will enjoy having the 'Beacon' skill at their disposal, as it increases Frey's stamina recharges rate. It also makes her easier for enemies to spot, so be careful when using it around large groups of Forspoken's more dangerous enemies.

Founts of Blessing in the Avoanet Region

Forspoken-Suppression-Frey

Area: The Moulderings

Type: Juniper Fount

Fast Travel: Samum Coast: Eastern Refuge or Moulderings Refuge (If discovered)

Spell Awarded: Suppression

Magic: Olas' Green Magic

This fountain can be somewhat tricky to find, as The Moulderings are never visited during the course of Forspoken's main story. Unfortunately, despite its relative proximity to the Mustering Ground's fountain, Frey will have to approach from the Samum Coast. Follow the path marked on the above map, reaching the Moulderings Belfry first, then continuing on to the Juniper Fount. 'Suppression' makes Frey completely invisible, though only when she stands still.

Area: Golden Hills

Type: Rosewood Fount

Fast Travel: Golden Hills: Southern Belfry or Three Tree Mountain Refuge (If Unlocked)

Spell Awarded: Rush

Magic: Sila's Red Magic

Most players will find the Southern Belfry to be the best approach to this fountain, as the Visoria side is not visited during the main story. If players have the Three Tree Mountain Ridge Refuge unlocked, that will be the closest fast travel. 'Rush' is another traversal spell that helps Frey cover distances in much less time.

Area: The Water Garden

Type: Rosewood Fount

Fast Travel: Water Garden: Western Belfry

Spell Awarded: Soar

Magic: Sila's Red Magic

This fountain is very hard to miss as it sits in direct view of the player upon arriving in The Water Garden's main area. This was also the fountain that was featured in the playable demo, so players are likely familiar with both it and 'Soar,' its unlockable spell. 'Soar' adds on to the 'Leap' spell, which is one of Forspoken's essential traversal spells.

Founts of Blessing in the Visoria Region

Forspoken-Float-frey

Area: Inner Visoria

Type: Lilac Fount

Fast Travel: Inner Visoria Refuge

Spell Awarded: Float

Magic: Prav's Blue Magic

This is another difficult fount to locate due to the fact that Frey doesn't go anywhere near it during Forspoken's main story. It's likely better to wait until Frey has leveled up considerably, as the enemies in this region are some of the toughest in the game. 'Float' is an incredibly useful tool that allows Frey to land gently after long falls.

Area: Windy Hills

Type: Lilac Fount

Fast Travel: Shepard's Meadow Belfry or Windy Hills Refuge

Spell Awarded: Fortify

Magic: Prav's Blue Magic

Windy Hills is in the northeastern section of Visoria, which is relatively easy to reach once the area has become unlocked. 'Fortify' allows Frey to upgrade the defense stats of cloaks and necklaces, granting a much-need boon to Forspoken's crafting system.

Area: Visorian Plateau

Type: Lilac Fount

Fast Travel: Visoria Castle Town Refuge or Visorian Plateau Refuge

Spell Awarded: Alb

Magic: Prav's Blue Magic

It's extremely easy to miss this entrance to the area of the plateau that contains the Fount of Blessing. When Frey enters the main gate into Visoria Castle Town, instead of going straight across, look for the door to the left or right (depending on which direction the player is coming from). This will take Frey out to the correct part of the map, leading her to the fountain.

Forspoken-Alb-Path

'Alb' allows Frey to take much less damage from a single purple or red 'x' attack. This can be incredibly helpful, especially when playing on Forspoken's harder difficulty levels.

Founts of Blessing in the Junoon Region

Forspoken-Run-Frey

Area: Physic Garden

Type: Juniper Fount

Fast Travel: Physic Garden Refuge

Spell Awarded: Spoof

Magic: Olas' Green Magic

This area is better left until the late game, as the traversal can be difficult if Frey does not have the appropriate spells. The best way to get to this section of Junoon if Frey doesn't have fast-travel access to Physic Garden is to simply head west from Cipal through the massive circular rocks. The emblem should show up on the map once Frey gets near. 'Spoof' creates a copy of Frey as she evades away, confusing the enemy and allowing for faster evasion and surprise.

Area: Crosstide Coast

Type: Juniper Fount

Fast Travel: Physic Garden Refuge

Spell Awarded: Diversify

Magic: Olas' Green Magic

This Fount of Blessing will likely be the most difficult to reach, simply because the player must go through the final "Depths of Corruption" before they are able to reach it. From the Physic Garden Refuge, head east along the cliff. Drop down and follow the clear signs to the entrance to the Depths. The symbol for the fountain should be on the map at this point, so once Frey has entered Crosstide Coast, the path should be much easier to follow. Do not be afraid to jump down into the water. This will be the quickest way to get across the map.

Once Frey arrives at the area near the fountain, she will notice it is surrounded by Fort Chahiye. This place is filled with Nightmares, so only fight if Frey is absolutely prepared. Players can avoid fighting by using 'Soar' and 'Leap' to scale the center section and reach the Fount of Blessing.

'Diversify' allows Frey to add an extra skill slot to her necklace, making it one of the best crafting-related spells in Forspoken. Even if the player has no desire to clear Junoon, going through the Fort to retrieve 'Diversify' is absolutely worth it.

With this done, there are no more Founts of Blessing to visit. Players should not feel obligated to complete the list in this order, though this is the order that each region will become accessible. Once all Founts are complete, the player will receive the "Call of the Fount: Beautified" trophy or achievement.

Forspoken is available now on PS5 and PC.
