Despite the various powers portrayed in Fire Force, all of them are centered around heat. That's one of the things that makes this anime unique. People are able to do things that range from controlling people to stopping time, and it always has something to do with heat or fire.

Regardless of the myriad abilities, characters can be grouped into just 5 generations. The characters all have moves that are unique to them, and with training, they can improve them or create all new techniques. Some of these techniques are so powerful, they can take out an opponent with one blow. Which one of these techniques is the deadliest?

8 The Unbridled Velocity Of Hinawa Is A Force To Be Reckoned With

Fire Force - White Clad member gets hit by a shockwave

Lieutenant Hinawa's pyrokinetic ability allows him to control heat with extreme precision. He applies this precision to control bullets from his or his opponent's guns. By controlling the explosions that fire the bullets, he can fire non-lethal rounds from his gun, or make the gun shoot like a cannon.

Most notably, he can shoot his bullet with so much force that his gun shatters. He then proceeds to use the surrounding flames to make the bullet go even faster. This results in his "Velocity Unbridled," a bullet traveling with so much force that just the shockwave alone can knock his opponents out.

7 Excalibur Is Lethal To Most People

Fire Force - Arthur wielding Excalibur

Arthur's Excalibur, as described by Benimaru, is a finishing move on its own. It's basically a plasma sword that is so hot, it can cut through just about anything. The only people immune to it are people with extremely high resistance to heat.

Anybody else will lose body parts or get killed if they get struck by this sword. The strength of this sword is solely dependent on Arthur's willpower. He often fantasizes about being a Knight King and can convert his delusions of grandeur to power. The more he feels like a knight, the more powerful he'll become.

6 Ogun's Flamy Ink Gives Him A Power Boost

Fire Force - Ogun covered in fire bands with the inscription "Flamy Ink"

At Ogun's disposal is a variety of techniques that mostly involve creating weapons like spears and knives out of fire. He can also create a fiery skateboard which he uses to increase his mobility. Among his many skills, his "Flamy Ink" technique is by far his most impressive.

He wraps himself with flamy bands so that they look tattooed to his person, and this gives him an immense power boost. With this power, he can go head-to-head with a demon infernal, stopping just short of destroying it. When Ogun activates this technique, he's able to temporarily produce as much heat as Captain Burns.

5 Charon's Stamp Is Devastating

Fire Force - Charon concentrating a fireball in his hands

One of the most powerful White-Clad members is Charon, a second-generation pyrokinetic with the ability to convert kinetic energy into heat and release that heat as an attack of his own. This makes him impervious to almost anything.

The kinetic energy from things that touches him, be it a punch, kick, slap, flame attack - literally anything, becomes his own arsenal. He has several techniques that are derived from this ability of his, but perhaps the most devastating attack is one he calls Stamp. He does this by releasing all the energy he has stored up in a single blast.

4 Soul Eclipse Is A Silent But Deadly Killer Move

Fire Force - White Clad members surrounded by black smoke

Kurono has gained infamy as the "maddest" pyrokinetic thanks to his methods of fighting. His right arm has carbonized because of his extreme use of his powers, and yet he was able to use the carbonization to his advantage and create an all-new type of power.

He uses the smoke produced by his arm to fight, and it's very versatile. He can create weapons and launch them at his opponent, as well as read his enemy's moves. One of his techniques is called Soul Eclipse, and it is very deadly. Anyone who inhales it gets burned from the inside almost immediately.

3 Shinra's Rapid Is Very Powerful When Blessed With Grace

Fire Force - Shinra taking off with fire shooting from his feet

Shinra, of Company Eight, learned the Rapid from Benimaru. It's a technique that allows Shinra to easily travel at supersonic speeds and catch his opponents off-guard. He also uses this for regular movement, and he covers great distances in a short period of time.

When granted grace from the Evangelist, this move becomes exponentially more powerful. In this state, Shinra easily surpasses the speed of light, traveling at superluminal speeds. His attacks become more devastating, and he can even take out a demon infernal in a single blow, a feat that should be impossible.

2 Severed Universe Is Almost Too Powerful

Fire Force - Sho surrounded by fiery feathers

Shinra's brother, Sho Kusakabe, is a very powerful commander in the Evangelist's forces, and for good reason. With his power, Severed Universe, he has the ability to literally make time stop in his immediate vicinity, and it can work in a wide area as well.

He does this by rapidly stealing heat from the universe as it cools, and the universe's expansion slows down, allowing Sho to literally stop time. The main reason this is even possible is because of the Evangelist's grace. This power makes Sho almost invincible.

1 The Power Of The Crimson Moon Is Tremendous

Fire Force - Konro firing blue flames from his shoulders as a red explosion goes off

The Crimson Moon is a technique developed by Konro and later used by Benimaru, one of the strongest characters in the series. This technique is so powerful, even Benimaru has to be careful when he uses it. The first time a demon infernal ever got defeated, it was Konro who did it with the Crimson Moon technique.

Benimaru soon repeated the same move to take out yet another demon infernal. The power it takes to perform this technique seriously depletes the oxygen in the user's body. The name of this move is derived from the explosion which takes on the semblance of an eerie red moon.
