A great indication of a video game character’s popularity can be seen by how the amount of official merchandise being produced about them. Now, Japanese toy brand Good Smile Company has just announced that pre-orders have opened for a scale figure of the female version of Byleth, the main protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Though Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be turning four years old this year, the game’s popularity in the community does not seem to have declined. The fandom keeps alive through a variety of online content created by players such as fan art and merchandise, as well as character cosplay. What’s more, Nintendo keeps the game’s fans hooked by continuously introducing FE3H characters in its mobile gacha title, Fire Emblem Heroes. FEH often has one or two Three Houses characters in every banner, even in seasonal or holiday ones.

To further cement that the players' love for Fire Emblem: Three Houses and its characters is alive and well, Japanese figure brand Good Smile Company just announced that pre-orders have been opened for a full scale figure of the female version of Byleth. On the official GSC product page, the pre-order period starts January 13, 2022, 19:00 PST, until July 20, 2022, 23:59 PST. This gives FE3H fans a few months to decide whether to purchase the figure, given that it has quite the expensive price tag. According to the official pre-order pages, the Byleth statue will cost around 25,000 yen or $249.99 USD.

More of the figure's details and product photos have also been shared on Good Smile Company's dedicated pages. The statue stands quite tall at 1/7th scale, and will measure 195mm or 7.68 inches. Byleth will come with two versions of the Sword of the Creator, the character’s iconic weapon in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. These options offer two ways to display Byleth, either with the sword in its dormant mode or in its powerful, ranged glory. Most fans will likely appreciate the fiery special effect of the Sword of the Creator's 2nd version, and players will probably recognize its similarity with the weapon's in-game effects.

Though the Byleth figure pre-order is already open, stocks will not be shipped to owners until February 2023. This is likely due to the amount of fine details found on the figure, GSC does indicate that part of the statue's paintwork will be done by hand. Hopefully Fire Emblem: Three Houses fans will be patient and trust the manufacturers to provide them with a high-quality product.
