More recent Fire Emblem games such as Heroes and Three Houses may be popular, but the series wouldn't be how it is today if it weren't for the many games that came before. Among the older titles, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on the Nintendo Wii is considered one of the best, and that game's protagonist Ike is getting a figure very soon.

Newer fans may know Ike from Super Smash Bros, where he has appeared as a fighter in every entry since Brawl. He's famous for swinging his massive broadsword, the Ragnell, as well as having multiple costumes that reflect his older and younger designs. His older design is the one getting the statue treatment thanks to Good Smile Company.

Good Smile has opened up pre-orders for a 1/7th scale figure. It towers in at approximately 16 inches tall, and the pose is notably based off of a special new illustration from one of the game's original artists, Senri Kita, including faithful recreations of Ike and his holy sword. Ike is already one of the best units in Radiant Dawn, so it is only fitting that so much work is being put into his figure.

Those wanting to add this enormous figure to their collection will need to pay up, as the statue costs 20,000 yen before tax, or approximately $180 USD. Fortunately, the figure doesn't release until June 2022, giving collectors plenty of time to save up money for this big investment.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn may be beloved among hardcore fans, but both of these games are hard to find or play in modern times. Experiencing Ike's story requires owning a GameCube, a Wii, and an infamously expensive copy of both games. Fans can only hope that Nintendo brings GameCube and Wii games to Switch, allowing newer fans to play Ike's Fire Emblem games before his figure releases.
