Ever since its release in 2017, Fire Emblem Heroes has been one of Nintendo's most successful mobile games, allowing gamers to play as their favorite Fire Emblem characters across the franchise's 30-year history. Now, Nintendo has revealed the next batch of special units that players should expect to see in Fire Emblem Heroes.

In a new trailer released by Nintendo, the studio showcased some of the new elements added in the new banner, including an overview of some of the character's skills and more. The latest banner will run starting January 1st, 2021 up until February 2nd, 2021, and Nintendo confirmed that players would also be able to play a new paralogue chapter called Beyond Dreaming. The developer unveiled all more details on what's coming to Fire Emblem Heroes in a new trailer, that showcased New Year themed variants of the following characters:

Meanwhile, Fire Emblem Heroes recently kicked off its next chapter, called Book 5, earlier this month. According to Nintendo, Book 5 is one of the biggest content expansions in the game, and players should expect several additions that will add variety to the gameplay. Book 5 is also a departure from Fire Emblem's typical sword and sorcery vibe, taking players to the steampunk-inspired realm of Nidavellir. In this new world, magic and science have been combined to create high-tech weaponry such as the horse-like battle mech known as Gullinbursti.

Apart from Book 5, Fire Emblem Heroes released a Christmas-themed Banner last December 17th called "A Festive Miracle." In this latest content update, Fire Emblem Heroes allowed players to see some of their favorite characters, such as Felix, Bernadetta, Hilda, and more, displaying their holiday spirit.

Fire Emblem Heroes is free to play on Mobile.
