For years, the Japanese Final Fantasy franchise has dominated within the genre of grind-heavy RPG games thanks to its brilliant character design, incredible scores and unique storylines. There's nothing quite like the aesthetic of an FF game, which is why it's considered a benchmark for many other RPGs out there.
Final Fantasy X in particular is undoubtedly one of the most popular games in the entire franchise. The story introduced players to the world of Spira and its religious turmoil, which forces a party of main characters to aspire to save it. Each character is perfectly unique, with their own back stories, as well as a zodiac type they loosely represent.
12 Aries: Tidus
Everyone knows Tidus either by his looks or by his fiery personality. He's a competitive young lad and a blitzball prodigy in the making. Within the game, he's known as the young and brash main character who makes decisions based on emotions rather than logic.
That fire of his is almost identical to that of an Aries, who's just as eager to achieve their ambitious goals and absolutely loves to win no matter what.
11 Taurus: Lulu
Both a motherly and sisterly figure, Lulu's devotion to Yuna is without parallel. Although she can come across as very sharp and irritated, unable to match the energy of some of the other party members, Luna has a heart of gold and the loyalty of a family member.
Her steadfast personality is absolutely close to that of a Taurus, a sign well-known for being a constant in their friends' lives and never, ever letting them down.
10 Gemini: Rikku
Rikku is a burst of energy wherever she goes. Her bright and youthful personality sort of acts as the comedic relief in some of the heavier parts of the game. That being said, she can also be incredibly emotional and dramatic, although she's much stronger than she appears to be.
As Rikku wears her emotions on her sleeve, she's very close to a typical Gemini, who is known to openly expresses their feelings. Geminis are lively and generally very curious about life, similar to Rikku.
9 Cancer: Lord Braska
Father of Yuna, it's no wonder that Lord Braska almost embodies the stereotype of the kind "king" as a former high summoner. His personality very much mirrors Yuna's caring and gentle nature, and all he ever fought for was peace within the world of Spira.
Lord Braska's immense kindness and humbleness towards others is very similar to a Cancer's personality type. Both rely on their heart to make important decisions and to define the founding pillars of their ethical views.
8 Leo: Jecht
The man who pretty much formed Tidus, Jecht is both likable and unlikable in many ways. He's extremely self-confident, to the point of being arrogant, and believes himself to be the best at what he does. As a result, he tends to push Tidus' buttons in order to make him strive for the same type of success.
Jecht's confidence is on par with that of a typical Leo, who likes to be in charge of the situation. If they don't come out of things on top, they're not happy.
7 Virgo: Yuna
There isn't much you could dislike about Yuna's graceful personality. She's both young and naive, but also timelessly wise. Although some characters argue she's privileged, she's also incredibly aware of that and seeks to do good at all cost and make the best possible decisions using what she has.
Virgos will instantly feel a kinship with Yuna's approach to problem-solving, because she showcases a mixture of reason and sentiment, as well as a deep compassion to everyone without discrimination.
6 Libra: Isaaru
An eager follower of the summoner lifestyle and an admirer of Yuna's father (and thus, Yuna herself), Isaaru has many of the same characteristics these two have. He's eager but open-minded, and he means well.
Isaaru's approach to treating everyone as his equal is the foundation of any Libra's beliefs, paired with their outgoing personalities.
5 Scorpio: Seymour Guado
Maester of Yevon, Seymour is one of the key political and religious figures in Spira. While many follow and admire him, Seymour's nature is that of a person who would do anything for their own gain and beliefs, even kill and hurt others.
This same cunning and somewhat opportunistic attitude is often found in Scorpios. While not necessarily bad, it can come across as cold and heartless to some of the other signs.
4 Sagittarius: Wakka
Another high-energy character in the game is definitely Wakka, who will use any chance he gets to crack a joke or lighten the mood. He's a social creature, and loves being around his friends, whom he cares about immensely.
Sagittarius is absolutely the most extroverted and optimistic sign of the twelve, and will understand Wakka's behavior around other people.
3 Capricorn: Kimahri Ronso
Kimahri doesn't speak much, but that doesn't mean he's uncaring. It could even be argued he cares the most, due to his silent devotion and incredible amount of discipline he has for his cause and particularly for Yuna.
Capricorns tend to be similarly focused on their goals, and on striving very, very hard to get to where they want.
2 Aquarius: Auron
Auron is one of those silent types like Kimahri, but he's also very unique in that he'll sometimes show slivers of an inner self with a bit more sense of humor. He's among the only few people who actually stand by Tidus, while many others look down upon his eagerness.
An Aquarius will always gravitate towards characters with strong opinions that differ from the crowd. Their love of philosophy will make them appreciate Auron's wise yet mysterious character.
1 Pisces: Belgemine
A summoner just like Yuna, Belgemine's personality is hard to decipher at first. She's very sentimental and carries an emotional wisdom about herself, making her incredibly compassionate towards others.
Pisces are similar in the sense that they are very in touch with their emotions, but able to handle them in a mature, wise manner while caring for their friends.
