Final Fantasy is known for its gripping stories, but is also incredibly renowned for its villains. Over the years, the franchise has seen incredibly terrifying characters like Kefka or Sephiroth, but many others have also made their mark in the series in their own way. Of course, many fans would love to be the hero or other side characters but there are many more that love to cosplay as the villain. So just for fun, it would be interesting to see what villain a fan would be based on their zodiac sign.
As such, here are the villains that best fit the reader based on their zodiac signs. Please note that some villains may not be on here since there are 15 Final Fantasy games and only 12 zodiac signs.
12 Aquarius - Seymour Guado
The Aquarius show up between January 20-February 18, and they are often known for their eccentric and ambitious personalities. Although they can also at times be shown to quite shy, regardless though, they can be uncompromising when it comes to their goals.
Of course, this fits Seymour Guado, the antagonist of Final Fantasy X. Not only is he incredibly aloof, but he is also cold and calculating with his plans. Ensuring that the end of all things over the course of the game.
11 Pisces - Garland
Pisces are zodiacs that appear between February 19-March 20. They have an inherent desire to escape from reality while also being incredibly fearful in general. Thus they could often have a martyr complex, which fits the original villain himself. The character of Garland is a tragic one in that he has a love of war, but it also accepting of being in an eternal cycle with gods. Although he desires to leave it, as his love of violence is his coping mechanism.
10 Aries - Exdeath
Aries are brave zodiacs that often appear during March 21-April 19. They are known for their powerful and energetic personalities while also at times being too assured of their strength. This can be most clearly seen with the character of Exdeath. This loudmouthed and absolutely selfish character is someone who views things beneath it like flies. Partly due to the assurance of its strength. Quite similar for someone like Aries.
9 Taurus - Ardyn Izunia
Taurus are incredibly reserved individuals who show up around April 20-May 20. Taurus's have a tendency to appreciate hard work and they are known for their patience, which is why they hate sudden changes. Ardyn Izunia from Final Fantasy XV is a great example of a Taurus, as he was once devoted to his people only to be betrayed by his own kin and destiny itself. What's more, his plan was crafted after 2,000 years of imprisonment. Resulting in his meticulous plans that affected everyone in the game.
8 Gemini - Ultimecia
Gemini shows up in May 21-June 20 and is known for their distinctive personalities. One that is incredibly gentle but also thought-provoking. Showcasing their connection to people and as communicators. Ultimecia is the villain for Final Fantasy VIII and she is absolutely filled with immense hate. However, just like a Gemini, she can at times be quite adaptive when things don't go her way. Yet despite this, she tends to like different styles and often uses a variety of sorceresses for her own purposes.
7 Cancer - Sephiroth
Cancer's are intuitive zodiac signs that show up during June 21-July 22. They can be incredibly compassionate, but they could also be quite manipulative and possessive. Sometimes they can be quite moody and often dislike it when bad things are said about their mother. Sephiroth just fits this in spades, as he can is one of the most manipulative villains in the series. Constantly making Cloud's life a living hell and standing out for his insanity.
6 Leo - Vayne Solidor
Showing up between July 23-August 22, Leo's are known for their charisma and immense strength. This makes them capable of moving people whether through their might or by their words. Although he isn't really much of a brute, Vayne Solidor is an incredibly devious personality who wants nothing more than to gain more power. Displaying immense intelligence as well as a snake tongue. All for the benefit of Archadia and his house.
5 Virgo - Kuja
Virgo's are incredibly meticulous. Showing up between August 23-September 22, having a strong connection to humanity while also being full of wisdom thanks to their careful nature. However, this wisdom can sometimes get the better of people to the point of leading into being incredibly self-critical. That is what defines Kuja as a character, as in spite of his more prideful personality, he often does it in order to hide his own insecurities over the course of his game.
4 Libra - Galenth Dysley
Showing up between September 23-October 22, Libra's are very diplomatic people who have their limits. In spite of wishing for harmony, they dislike injustice and can have a grudge at times. Galenth Dysley is the main antagonist in Final Fantasy XIII and despite his wise demeanor can often be very selfish. What's more, he is a complete nihilist who wants nothing more than to use people for his own justice. Even if it is wrong.
3 Scorpio - Emperor Mateus
Scorpio's are the decisive zodiacs that appear between October 23-November 21. Their passionate personalities make them incredible leaders, which translates, of course, to Emperor Mateus's ego marvelously as he is a leader to his army. This has led him to be incredibly cocky and he believes himself as being Humanity's judge and feels that way. Of course, just like a Scorpio, both get incredibly violent at times when things don't go their way.
2 Saggitarius - Kefka
Saggitarius's are hilarious. Showing up between November 22-December 21, they are known for their great humor, intellectual opinions and their distinct desire to not be restrained in any way. Whether that's the outdoors or their opinions.
What else can be said about the character of Kefka? Not only is he a clown but an even more dangerous one at that, being responsible for the destruction of the world. One of the greatest villains in the entire series, it is that expressive nature that makes him so special.
1 Capricorn - Zemus
Showing up between December 22-January 19, Capricorn is known for their uncompromising and responsible natures which leads them to be kind of traditional at times. They are incredible hard-workers who don't like it when things don't go their way.
Zemus might not seem much to be considered a Capricorn, after all, he is like the other villains in that he has plenty of arrogance. However he has a deep responsibility when it comes to his people, and he only does it for them. What's more, he just refuses to give up, just like a Capricorn.
