Square Enix's magnum opus Final Fantasy 7's remake is finally almost here, and fans are excited to see the updated story and graphics for one of the most beloved games in the Final Fantasy series. And for a limited time, fans can grab a free Final Fantasy 7 Tifa PlayStation 4 dynamic theme with the proof of purchase from some candy bars.

Video games have had all sorts of crossovers and sponsorships, like Monster Energy Drinks featuring Call of Duty codes and the NFL sponsoring Overwatch leagues, so Final Fantasy 7's partnership with Butterfinger isn't out of the norm. From March 3rd, 2020 to May 14, 2020, FF fans can snack on Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, or Crunch bars, then use the codes inside the packaging to get themselves all sorts of gear when the game officially launches in April.

Players will be able to trade points in for accessories in-game, and they can also trade two candy bars' worth of points to grab the Tifa Dynamic Theme for their PS4 background that matches the FF7 key art spoiled in December.

Tifa Dynamic Theme

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake dynamic theme is a picture of Tifa, one that many fans associate with some of the saddest moments in Final Fantasy 7. This iconic scene shows Tifa atop the Nibelheim water tower, her feet dangling over the edge, leaning back to look at the starlit sky. This picture is pretty well known by fans, and will be nostalgic for many who loved the original PS1 version of this game.

How to Trade in Points

After purchasing the two specially marked, FF7-themed candy bars needed, gamers just need to go to the website and type in the codes; it will give players a snack while they clear up hard drive space for the massive FF7 file size. Go to butterfingerff7r.com after March 3rd. Until then, the website will look like this:

Unlock the DLC crossover event

After that, players should be able to unlock the theme or whatever other DLC and in-game accessories that they wish to grab with their points. Until then, fans will just have to rewatch those incredible moves for the updated Tifa in the Final Fantasy Remake that were spoiled on Twitter.
