When it comes to Final Fantasy 7, there is no end to the cosplay. It's a beloved entry in the franchise that only got more popular with the release of the remake. For years, fans have been cosplaying as characters from the game, but it has mainly been relegated to the main cast of heroes and villains. Instead of going with the usual characters, one fan decided to cosplay as one of the more popular side characters, Jessie Rasberry.

Jessie is one of just a handful of members of Avalanche that Cloud gets involved with at the beginning of the story. In the original game, she didn't play a very large role, but in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, she was given a lot more story and characterization, boosting her popularity among fans. To celebrate their birthday, cosplayer @zabka_zee paid homage to Jessie by dressing up as the feisty rebel and posting a photograph on social media.

They nail the look very well, with careful attention paid to all of the small details. The ponytail wig, supplied by @ardawigs, and red bandana complete the look. They add their own flair by striking what they call a "JoJo pose", just for the fun of it. Photographer @j.a.vilches captured the moment.

It's always nice to see fans cosplaying as characters that don't get as much attention as the main cast, but there are some impressive cosplays of more prominent characters like Cloud and Vincent out there. Another member of the main cast that is often the subject of cosplay is Tifa. There are a lot of great Tifa Lockhart cosplays, and many of them try to stray from her default look to keep things interesting.

Since Final Fantasy 7 Remake added or altered a tremendous amount of its story, there are a lot of fresh costumes and scenes to get inspiration from, such as a recent Wall Market Aerith cosplay. It used that portion of the game's story to inject humor into the photography session. Dressed in Aerith's red gown, the cosplayer wields a folding chair similar to the one used to clobber Don Corneo's goons.

Please note that the rest of this article will have some spoilers for Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Aerith and Tifa's fight in Wall Market is just one of many story changes the game introduced in the remake. The game's finale also changed quite a bit and it was even expanded upon further with Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade's new ending. It showed Cloud and the gang shortly after making their way out of Midgar, with Yuffie hot on their heels. This means she will likely be joining the rest of the group much earlier than she did in the original.

It also made changes to Zack Fair's story in a major way, seemingly bringing him back from the dead. There is still a lot of ambiguity that surrounds his inclusion, and audiences likely won't get any straight answers until the sequel is released. This is a running theme in Final Fantasy 7 Remake as Jessie's fate was also left somewhat ambiguous. As the recent cosplay shows, Jessie has become a beloved character and fans are hoping she will return.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now on PS4 and PS5.
