Final Fantasy 7 Remake introduced a new generation of gamers to the classic JRPG that attracted so many to the genre. The game also brought the timeless story and characters back to those who had experienced the original Final Fantasy 7 more than 25 years ago, bringing with it a wave of nostalgia.

Now gamers are waiting for the second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, speculating on what will be seen when the sequel eventually releases. While theories are spreading around the world about what the experience will be like when the game comes out, one player is anticipating Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 in their own way.

A Redditor going by the name Hyperlucas created their own concept art for the cover of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2. The artwork is done simply, with Aerith looking up at a beautiful sky and the game's logo placed in the top-right corner to match her gaze. While the artwork is very minimalist, there is a lot to take in and notice.

Hyperlucas' concept cover is very reminiscent of a piece of official art for Final Fantasy 7 featuring Aerith that was seen on the inside of the game's case when it was originally released in 1997. In that image, Aerith is looking up at the sky with the Highwind, the ship that players are able to pilot around the game's world, flying in the background. Hyperlucas also added one more touch of their own to their concept. Rather than calling the game Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, the logo on the cover says Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. It is an interesting choice.

Hyperlucas' concept cover is receiving a lot of love from fans. Many are saying the artist did a good job, with one commenter stating that they will have a hard time imagining what Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2's cover art will be if not this. A few even say that they thought this was the official cover for the game as they were scrolling through Reddit. Hyperlucas' work is a nice nod to the original game and could hold a lot of meaning depending on where Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 heads.

Square Enix gave gamers a bit of a tease earlier this year regarding Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2. During the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary event, the developer confirmed that it will be sharing more information on the sequel to Remake sometime this year. It is unknown what that information could be, as it could be a few details on the game, or even a full trailer. Until Square Enix announces or releases something, all fans can do at the moment is speculate.

Final Fantasy Remake Part 2 is currently in development.
