Square Enix just revealed three new Final Fantasy 7 Remake themes that players can earn for their PS4 in various ways, similar to Tifa's recent theme.
Players may recognize this first one featuring Cloud and Avalanche. The official Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter account promoted it earlier this month. It features Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, and even Red XIII standing on the edge of a broken bridge and experiencing the sunrise together.
Players can earn this theme by simply downloading the Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo before May 11. It'll be available to them once Remake launches in April.
The next theme features two images: one of Cloud and the other of Midgar. Players will see the Midgar image while exploring the function screen of the PS4 menu -- the area where they can check things like their notifications and trophies. When they move to the content area -- the place where they can select their games -- they'll see the iconic image of Cloud staring up at Shinra's Headquarters.
Players can obtain this theme if they have a PS+ subscription. They'll be able to find and grab it for free. Though, the tweet didn't specify when exactly.
It should be noted that this is not the same PS4 theme that the FF7 Remake Twitter account promoted earlier in the month. While the Midgar images are the same, the "earlier" theme features a Final Fantasy 14 image for the function screen.
Last but not least comes the newest theme of the bunch: Sephiroth. Sephiroth's new theme gives the function screen a moving image of a broken Shinra Electric Power Company, one pulsing with the heat of a fire. The theme's content area then shows Sephiroth standing amongst the source of the cinders at the bottom of the building. Noticeably, Sephiroth's theme also customizes the PS4 content icons with his signature black feathers.
Player's can grab this theme by pre-ordering Final Fantasy 7 Remake through Amazon in the US, and other retailers throughout Europe. Since this theme is also a pre-order bonus, it, too, probably won't be available until Final Fantasy 7 Remake launches.
The FF7 Remake Twitter account also mentions that the three themes displayed today won't be the only ones that players will have access too; it'll reveal even more in the coming days. What they revolve around remains a mystery, but Remake hasn't released a dull theme yet, so they're something to look forward to, whatever they are.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch on April 10, 2020, for the PlayStation 4.
