Prior to the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Square Enix stated that it would as long as a real game. With how long it takes to beat the FF7 Remake, between 30-50 hours depending on playstyle, it's clear that is the case.

As with many games, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is also divided into chapters of varying length. Completing chapters will help fans know how far they are through the game, so for those who are wondering, here's all there's to know about the FF7 Remake chapters.

How Many Chapters in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

The simple answer is that there are 18 chapters throughout the game, with 26 Side Missions or "Odd Jobs" scattered throughout as well. It's worth mentioning that the Odd Jobs are only available in certain chapters, and completing all 26 Side Quests unlocks the Best in the Business trophy. All of them cannot be completed in a single playthrough though, with chapter select being required to pick up side quests that are nulled by other sidequests, such is the case in Final Fantasy 7 Remake chapter 9.
