It may be hard to believe, but it seems like the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is actually a game that is going to be playable in less than a year. After years of teasing and multiple E3 appearances, the game finally seems to have a concrete release date and fans of the beloved franchise will get to see one of its most iconic stories retold with glorious PS4 current-gen graphics and controls.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is already very well-positioned to be one of the best selling games of the late winter, so many fans have likely already secured their pre-orders or Deluxe Editions. If there are still some gamers out there who haven't pulled the trigger on the purchase, the deal currently running on Amazon may be the best opportunity they get before launch.

The current Amazon deal, which doesn't have a time limited listed, has Final Fantasy 7 Remake listed at $49.95. Amazon Prime members should also see a coupon with the listing that allows them to take $4.96 off of the price. That brings the game down under $45, which seems like a bit of a steal for a day one price.

Although there isn't an ongoing Steam Sale right now or anything like that, August seems to have been filled with great deals on video games. This weekend there were two big sales, from Amazon and Target, that both were offering consumers have very tempting deals on popular console and PC titles.
