The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is getting a Deluxe Edition and a pricey 1st Class Edition collector's edition containing a Cloud statue, as revealed during the Square Enix press conference at E3 2019. The announcement came at the end of a new trailer that revealed Tifa for the first time in the classic JRPG remaster.

The cheaper Deluxe Edition of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake includes a steelbook case, art book, mini-soundtrack CD, and Cactuar bonus Summon Materia DLC. The higher-end 1st Class Edition contains everything from the Deluxe Edition, plus a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and his signature Hardy Daytona motorcycle statue, as well as a Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC. Any pre-order of the game gets a Chocobo Chick pre-order bonus.

The 1st Class Edition is exclusive to the Square Enix store and costs $329.99 US. The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99. Pre-orders are now live on the Square Enix store. The similarly designed Play Arts Kai Cloud and Fenrir statue from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children retails on its own for $369.99 US, so for hardcore collectors, they might actually be saving a bit considering that this new statue comes on top of the game and all the other content.

Square Enix opened its press conference with all things Final Fantasy 7, including showing off how the game's new combat system works. It was also revealed that the game's first chapter (the game is being released in different chapters over time) alone will take up two discs.

The remaster of the classic 1997 PlayStation game has been a hotly anticipated game since its first surprise announcement at PlayStation Experience in 2015. Old and new fans will finally get their hands on the first chapter of the game just over four years after that first announcement when the game launches in early 2020.

Final Fantasy 7 releases March 3, 2020 exclusively for PS4.
