Final Fantasy 7 is often considered to be the fan-favorite title out of the entire franchise, and as such, many of its characters are popular with the fandom also. Considering the game is held in high regard with many gamers, it's no surprise that Square Enix decided that this would be the game worthy of a full remake, with the first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake having released earlier this year.

One of the many amazing characters that the game has to offer is Yuffie Kisaragi, a definite favorite among players, evident from the number of amazing cosplays out there. Check out some of the best cosplays for Yuffie just below.

10 Mystery Ninja

This brilliant cosplay by breathelifeindeeply is a brilliant representation of Yuffie's outfit from the original PlayStation 1 version of Final Fantasy 7. Yuffie didn't make an appearance in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, though it's a given that she'll be in the next part of it.

Many fans are interested to see what changes her usual outfit will undergo for the next Remake release and no doubt even more cosplays will flood the internet when players get a glimpse of it.

9 "I know you want my help because I'm so good!"

Cosplayer gg_tinaberry has decided to use Yuffie's outfit from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, the CGI film that served as a sequel to the events of the original game. Yuffie wears a new Hawaiian print top under a sleeveless dark jacket, though she retains her khaki shorts, which are now peeled back a bit at the top to reveal a black interior.

In Advent Children, Yuffie, along with the other characters, all wear a pink ribbon tied around their upper arm in memory of Aerith, which can be seen in this cosplay.

8 The Great Ninja Yuffie

Yuffie is one of the Final Fantasy characters that make an appearance in the Kingdom Hearts series, accompanying Squall (who refers to himself as Leon), Aerith, and Cid. This cosplay by yacchin presents the outfit worn by Yuffie in the Kingdom Hearts games, which although very similar to her original outfit, has a bit more color with a yellow scarf and blue accessories.

Interestingly, Yuffie wasn't the first choice for Kingdom Hearts and her role was originally planned for Rikku from Final Fantasy 10. However, due to there already being an original character called Rikku making his debut in the title, it was felt that Yuffie should be used instead to avoid confusion.

7 Treasure Princess

Cosplayer Maru has found the perfect setting for her version of Yuffie and fans can clearly see the level of detail that has gone into this costume. Yuffie is a thief, hunting down materia in the hopes of restoring her hometown of Wutai to its former glory and back to how it was before it was conquered by the Shinra Electric Power Company.

Despite her desire to help her home, Yuffie is not one for traditions when it comes to Wutai and often clashes with her father, Godo Kisaragi, the leader of Wutai, when it comes to old-fashioned ways.

6 Optional Character

This awesome cosplay by MayuM0ss gives fans a great view of Yuffie's signature weapon - a large shuriken. Yuffie is a ninja as well as a thief, so her weapon of choice is a natural one. Though some of her stats are below average, she has the highest luck stat in the game out of all the characters.

She is one of two optional characters in Final Fantasy 7, with the other being Vincent Valentine. Players first encounter her in battle and then must give her certain answers in response to her dialogue in order to successfully recruit her.

5 "The stars shine so bright, like glowing materia... reach up and grab one."

Cosplayer kayyybear has perfected Yuffie's look in this amazing version of her usual outfit from Final Fantasy 7. Yuffie wears a protective gauntlet on one arm that is attached to a pauldron and strapped across her chest for support. She also wears a turtle neck green top that is cropped above her midriff and khaki shorts.

Yuffie wears a ninja headband and typical mesh mail that is associated with ninjas on her other arm, while one of her legs also sports the ninja mail, as well as a protective piece of armor at her knee.

4 Reporting for Duty

This amazing cosplay by ally-bee seems to capture Yuffie's bright and playful character perfectly, while also capturing a brilliant likeness of Yuffie's outfit. Though Yuffie was an optional character in the first version of Final Fantasy 7, many fans believe that due to her role being expanded upon in the subsequent spin-off games and film, that Yuffie and Vincent will no longer be optional.

Additionally, due to this, fans also believe that Yuffie and Vincent will both play a greater role in the game, as before they made no real impact on the storyline, though they did help expand the background of certain events.

3 The Single White Rose of Wutai

This cosplay by alex_cosplays shows a more peaceful Yuffie, though her mischievous personality is hinted at with the small smile of the cosplayer. This photo also allows fans to get a good look at some of the details of this particular cosplay, such as the armor on her arms.

Yuffie makes fun of many of the other main characters and will often call them by derogatory names or nicknames, however, the only character she doesn't seem to do this to is Aerith.

2 Cutest Character

Cosplayer aurumcosplay has styled their version of Yuffie based on her appearance in Advent Children, complete with Shuriken, pink ribbon, and dazzling smile. Tetsuya Nomura designed Yuffie's character and wanted to ensure that she came across as having a "cute" face.

As a result, the animation team had to rework Yuffie's facial animations more than once to ensure they got the characterization right. Additionally, as Yuffie is from Wutai, the team was able to use Japanese clothing styles for her, unlike the other characters in the game.

1 "You gotta do it then. You gotta live true to yourself."

This stunning cosplay by Stella Chuu not only gives a highly-detailed and perfect version of Yuffie and her outfit but also manages to capture Yuffie's playful personality in this brilliant photo. Yuffie is very confident in herself, proud, and can sometimes be a bit aggressive. Though she is a cunning thief, she is a compassionate comrade to the other characters.

She thinks a lot of herself both in looks and skills, and often gives herself prestigious titles, such as the "Great Ninja Yuffie" and "The Single White Rose of Wutai."
