Whether you've played the original Final Fantasy 7 on PlayStation 1, or the newer Final Fantasy 7 Remake version that just released for PlayStation 4, one of the most memorable parts of the game is where Cloud has to cross-dress as part of his plan to get close to Don Corneo, the crime lord.

Players must collect various items of clothing in order to be chosen as the best-dressed girl, with Remake offering various outfits depending on how many of the clothes-collecting side-quests you have completed. This part of the game has naturally become a fan-favorite scene and Wall Market Cloud cosplays have become more and more popular with players.

10 xpetitsbisous

This Wall Market cosplay of Cloud by xpetitsbisous has Cloud looking as though he's ready for a fight, complete with buster sword, and his clothing isn't going to stop him. Don Corneo better watch himself when this girl is around.

The delicate crown is a stark contrast to the whopping great big sword in the same way that Cloud's boots don't match up with the frill-edged dress; these disparities sum up Cloud's awkwardness about cross-dressing quite nicely.

9 Kismet Cosplay

Kismet Cosplay has managed to recreate Cloud's iconic purple dress look, paying extra attention to the small details such as the green brooch and plain stud earrings. The hair is perfectly coifed to replicate Cloud's do, and they've also managed to reproduce the rather garish make-up too. This cosplay gets an extra glam look by using a velvet-like dress.

However, this picture appears to be giving off some Lady Tremaine-vibes (the evil stepmother from Cinderella), perhaps because of Cloud's rather displeased expression.

8 SerinuCeli

This picture of SerinuCeli's cosplay as a cross-dressing Cloud is perfect. You can see more of their Cloud cosplay photos over on their Deviant Art page, but this image was particularly worth sharing as a friend of SerinuCeli donned the costume of Don Corneo (pun intended) and together they really captured the two characters well.

This Cloud cosplay sports hair bunches rather than the pigtails that most cosplayers opt to use for this character costume, but it still works nonetheless.

7 VikkiKafei

This Wall Market cosplay of Cloud by Vikki Kafei presents fans with a fresh-faced, more innocent-looking Cloud as he rocks his classic purple dress. The great thing about this cosplay is how the hairstyle is less like Cloud's clunky style from the original game and instead looks more realistic and natural.

This is also another cosplay that went for a recreation of Miss Cloud's make-up, complete with bright blush on the cheeks. Somehow it works kind of well here, despite the fact is should be overly-obvious.

6 Sekishinkou

Sekishinkou has opted to re-create the iconic purple dress from the original PlayStation version of Final Fantasy 7, channeling the classic look of Cloud Strife in his well-known cross-dressing outfit. This photo has been edited by ansenphotos to give it that extra bit of glamour and really capture Cloud's feminine side.

Sekishinkou is also no stranger to cosplaying as Cloud in his regular SOLDIER uniform, as well as Zack Fair from Final Fantasy 7, and Final Fantasy 8's protagonist, Squall Leonheart, among many other characters.

5 Aku Sesu

This picture of Aku Sesu and their friend Haku cosplaying as Wall Market Cloud with Aerith exudes such a mood that it's hard not to fall in love with it. Cloud is wearing the typical purple dress; complete with red hair ribbons to perfect the more girly look needed to convince Don Corneo.

Despite Cloud's awkwardness with the situation in-game, this portrayal of Cloud seems pretty comfortable with the look, and Aerith doesn't seem to mind at all as they share a close moment.

4 Gekroent

Gekroent is a cosplayer that decided to go for a more modern Cloud Strife look and opted for one of the more elegant cross-dressing outfits from Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This dress gives cloud a more gothic vibe and Gekroent manages to pull off a very refined look for the fan-favorite character.

The dress isn't an exact match to the game with the detailed bodice in the cosplay varying from the plainer bodice used in the game, additionally, the black hairpiece is missing, but this is still an outstanding cosplay.

3 Saschers

Saschers' cosplay of Miss Cloud is spot on, taking the visual style of the original PlayStation game with the classic purple dress, which is still available in Remake, but there it is classed as the plain dress. This is hardly surprising when you see how lavish the more elegant dress options are.

Though we get to see a more feminine version of Cloud with this cosplay, Saschers manages to maintain that "ready to fight at any moment" look by pairing the dress with Cloud's buster sword.

2 Ardella Cosplay

Ardella Cosplay did an amazing Final Fantasy 7 Wall Market photoshoot and it's hard not to fall in love with it. Ardella's portfolio is full of images from the shoot as some of them are downright adorable.

The attention to detail is great, with the crown adorning Cloud's spikey hair making this outfit absolutely perfect. Cloud was cosplayed by Wes Johnson, Aerith was Ardella (Sarah Quillian) herself, Tifa is Manzi DeYoung and photography was done by Eric Ng.

1 Ovsyan

This cross-dressing Cloud Strife cosplay by Ovsyan is absolutely breath-taking, bringing to life the fan-favorite character in all his elegant dress goodness. Not only does this cosplay manage to replicate one of the new dress options from Final Fantasy 7 Remake perfectly, but Ovsyan also captures Cloud's expression in portraying his reluctance to wear the dress.

This cosplay dress was made by DuckCosplay and the photographer for these images is jkyle_ph. Ovsyan is a very talented cosplayer who has stepped into the shoes of many characters, including also cosplaying as Cloud Strife in his SOLDIER uniform.
