Final Fantasy 14 has plenty of endgames. On one hand, it has Savage Raiding, Ultimate Bosses, and Player vs. Player – while on the other, it has Housing and Glamours. Seasoned players might go as far as to argue that the latter two represent the real endgame worth pursuing. The game's glamour system allows Final Fantasy 14 players to express themselves by creating a wide variety of outfits out of countless individual pieces of gear found in-game or obtained through the online store.

For some in the community, glamours are the perfect vehicle for making costumes of their favorite characters from pop culture, and sometimes Square Enix even offers official pieces such as the 2B and 9S outfits obtained in Final Fantasy 14 through the Copied Factory alliance raid. Others choose to make glamours from scratch, letting their creativity go wild as they try to find those perfectly matching pair of boots. Today's example is one such case.

A Reddit user named LOCKHARTX7 posted their Scarlet Witch glamour on the Final Fantasy 14 subreddit to overwhelmingly positive reactions. Though Wanda Maximoff may be no Reaper, there truly is no job in Final Fantasy 14 with more fitting visuals to convey the Scarlet Witch's iconic dark-red powers than the scythe-wielding disciple of the void.

For alternate job choices, one can't go wrong with Black Mage or Red Mage, and it's what the poster went with as well. As for the individual items that make up the costume and where one might obtain them, it's best to start with the Demonic Gloves (complete with black fingertips), purchased from the Mog Store with the rest of the Demonic Attire. The pants used by the outfit are Taoist Slops, a crafted item with materials that drop from the Stormblood treasure maps. Fair warning to new players: they can be rather pricey on the Final Fantasy 14 market board.

The boots are the easiest to obtain, as they are the Archeoskin Boots crafted by Weavers and learned in the first set of Heavensward recipes, requiring no rare materials to synthesize. The helmet is the Blade's Circle of Maiming, and is arguably the most difficult item to procure. It is bought with Bozjan Platinum Coins, obtained from completing the Dalriada – the finale to Zadnor – which itself is initially locked behind the Bozjan Southern Front.

Lastly, the chest piece is the Makai Harrower's Jerkin, obtained either by Wolf Marks earned through Player vs. Player content or by exchanging Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) in the Gold Saucer. By generously applying Rolanberry Red and the special Dark Red dyes – coupled with the gear listed above – one can reasonably match the Scarlet Witch in appearance, if not in power.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
