Final Fantasy 14 has gone through a rigorous past to bring out the best possible game for MMO fans to experience. And now that Final Fantasy 14 is available on PS5, more players than ever can enjoy the experience from a fresh new perspective.
One of the best aspects of Final Fantasy 14 for fans is the many different options for mounts in the game. It is the best way to explore the countryside or ride into battle with friends online. Now, Square Enix is giving gamers the option to earn a new mount in the game through a simple method.
As of today, Square Enix has started a new collaboration event partnering with Twitch for fans to win a Fat Black Chocobo mount. All players have to do is watch one of the eligible Twitch channels playing Final Fantasy 14 and pay for some gift subscriptions to the selected channels to receive the in-game item.
Once completed, gamers should receive the code for their Fat Black Chocobo Whistle and some Deluxe Heavenscrackers as well within their individual Twitch notifications. In total, it takes four gift subscriptions to the consumer's channel of choice to receive the whistle, and any gift subscription will also give players 100 Deluxe Heavenscrackers. In the end, this should come to around $20 minimum for fans. For people who don't know, Deluxe Heavenscrackers are miscellaneous seasonal party popper items, it is twice as powerful as the normal one and is a fun way to interact with others in Final Fantasy 14.

The gift subscriptions can be spent in any way that fans see fit, which is helpful for people who want to support multiple creators at once. People can either give one Twitch Streamer four gift subscriptions or give four streamers one gift subscription, and it will all go towards earning the Chocobo mount whistle. Fans just need to be wary that the selected channels are playing Final Fantasy 14 at the time of donation, or else it won't count towards the total.
While this does still cost some money, it is nice to also support other streamers while getting something back in return. Many of the streamers are relatively small, so this is a great way for these creators to earn some money and gain a bigger audience as well. Fans have until August 24th to support any of the content creators on the list and secure their prizes. Hopefully, players will be able to ride across Eorzea in style while riding their new mount in comedic fashion, watching it chase after a cabbage on a stick.
Final Fantasy 14 is available now on PC, PS4, and PS5. The Endwalker expansion will release on November 23rd, 2021.
