Soon, Final Fantasy 14 will play host to another seasonal holiday, as the Little Ladies' Day event will return from March 1 to March 15. The news came via a Final Fantasy 14 Lodestone post, with a special website dedicated to the event for players to see what the event is all about.

The news of Little Ladies' Day's arrival came less than a week after Square Enix dropped some important details about the upcoming 2023 Las Vegas Fan Festival event. In the coming days, Final Fantasy 14 players that entered an ongoing lottery to determine if they can purchase FanFest tickets before the public will find out their fate. The FanFest ticket lottery ends on Saturday, February 25, so players that are thinking of going to FanFest will not have much time left to decide.

This year's Little Ladies' Day will run for exactly two weeks from Wednesday, March 1 to Wednesday, March 15. Little Ladies' Day will arrive just under a month after Final Fantasy 14 hosted its annual spin on Valentine's Day, called Valentione's Day. However, Little Ladies' Day is inspired by the Japanese religious holiday called Hinamatsuri, also known as Girls' Day or Doll's Day. Held annually on March 3, the holiday features dolls of the Emperor and Empress of Japan and their court displayed atop a seven-tier shelf draped in a red carpet. The dolls are usually there for display only and are put away before the upcoming spring rains.

This year's Little Ladies' Day, titled A Dance to Remember, will be hosted in the desert city of Ul'dah. Final Fantasy 14 players that want to take part can accept the level 15 quest called "Inheritance" from the Royal Seneschal located just in front of the Ruby Road Exchange on the north end of town. Much like last year's festivities, players that complete the associated quests can earn rewards. This year's rewards may seem on the lighter side but will feature three unique items this time. The most prominent reward will arguably be the new "Little Ladies' Dance" emote, which has the player do a short and adorable fan dance. The other two rewards include the "Lovely Little Ladies' Day Advertisement" poster featuring artwork from the 2021 edition of the event, and the "Decisions Orchestrion Roll" for players that want to listen to the event's music long after it has concluded.

While Final Fantasy 14 will not have a new expansion in 2023, between annual events returning and patch content in the works, players will still have plenty to do and get excited about as the year goes on.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
