With the success of Shadowbringers and Endwalker, Final Fantasy 14 has solidified its position as a one of the most successful MMORPGs on the market right now. Now, Final Fantasy 14 is offering a Free Login Campaign to entice some inactive players to come back and see what the game has to offer. The Free Login Campaign period is active now, and runs through the end of June. The campaign provides eligible Final Fantasy 14 players with up to four days of free, unrestricted game time.RELATED: Final Fantasy 14 Update Adds New Story and Tribal QuestsIn order to be eligible for the Free Login Campaign, players must have purchased and registered Final Fantasy 14 in the past. The account must also have been inactive for at least 30 days. Provided these prerequisites are met, an eligible player simply needs to open Final Fantasy 14 and log in to begin their four-day period, which ends on the fourth day at 11:59 PST.

If a player resubscribes to the game while their free time is active, they will forfeit the remaining free, so those players should wait until after the free period is up to renew their subscriptions. Additionally, game maintenance can interfere with this play period, so players should try to begin the period on Tuesday through Friday, as maintenance is often carried out early morning on Tuesdays during the weekly reset.

Players who have not bought the critically-acclaimed MMORPG yet cannot benefit from this Free Login Campaign. However, they can still benefit from Final Fantasy 14’s free trial, which includes unlimited playtime up to level 60, including the award-winning Heavensward expansion.

It is a good time to come back to Final Fantasy 14 for the Free Login Campaign. With the overhauls to PvP and the Duty Support System, and new story introduced in Newfound Adventure–Patch 6.1–as well as the myriad side story quests recently added in 6.15, there are a lot of things for inactive players to try. In addition, Final Fantasy 14’s Make It Rain Campaign event is active for a few more days, so players who start their Free Login Campaigns now can cash in on the Gold Saucer event’s final days.

Final Fantasy 14 is likely running this campaign to get the attention of players who may have let their subscriptions lapse after completing Endwalker and Patch 6.1. The game is about halfway through its 6.1 cycle, meaning Patch 6.2 is just around the corner. Players can expect information about it soon, with the patch itself likely arriving sometime in August.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
