In the FInal Fantasy 14 Endwalker quest called A Taste of the Moon, players will need to fly all over the Mare Lamentorum in order to collect something called Aether Currents. This quest is only available to those who have unlocked all the new Endwalker locations in FF14.
What are Aether Currents in FF14?
Aether Currents look like large swirls of green energy that float above the ground. Aether Currents are used to allow players to fly freely around an area, so players will want to unlock these quickly. Final Fantasy 14 players will come across a total of 10 in a variety of locations around the moon, and they will need to attune each one of them to complete the quest.
Bestways Burrow Aether Currents
Bestways Burrow is in the middle part of the complex at the very northern-most part of the moon's map where many of the small Viera boys and girls live. There are two total Aether Currents in this location. One is located in the center of the "Plus" that makes up most of the Burrow. Its coordinates are: x 21.8, y 13.6
The second is located at x 22.1, y 10.4 which is directly south of the first one inside Final Fantasy 14's Burrow.
The Carrotorium Aether Currents
The Carrotorium is the mess hall for all the bunnies, and players will be able to find two more Aether Currents here. One is located at x 11.8, y 9.6, in kind of the middle of the area by these potted plants.
The second is here: x 6.6, y 6.6 in the upper left-hand corner of the map.
Greatest Endsvale Aether Current 1
Greatest Endsvale is the part of the bunny complex that is to the northeast of the map. Its first Current is located at x 27.6, y 9.4.
The second is at x 34.7, y 13.3.
Northern Mare Lamentorum Aether Current 1
Outside of the complex, players will find two more Currents north of the crater that houses Zodiark, an important character to the lore of Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker. Its coordinates are x 22.3, y 18.1.
Inside of the cave at 18.9, y 20.1, players need to look to the left here and they will find the next Current.
Sinus Tormenti Aether Currents
Sinus Tormenti is the location east of the crater. It also has two Aether Currents. The first is at x 33.1, y 23.8.
The second can be found at x 29.1, y 27.5.
Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker is in Early Access for PC, PS4, and PS5.
