Final Fantasy 14 is about to get spooky, as the annual "All Saints' Wake" in-game holiday returns to its usual time slot this season. As part of the event, adventurers will have a new quest to complete, with new and unique cosmetic rewards to earn for a limited time. As is the case with each holiday in the game, Final Fantasy 14 features a new quest and new rewards for players to enjoy.

However, each holiday's story and rewards differ from year to year. This year's All Saints' Wake comes after the past two runs were not featured in the usual way. In 2020, All Saints' Wake was canceled due to COVID-19. However, players were not left completely empty-handed, as a haunted house was made available to explore in light of the missing event. However, the 2021 version was featured in its entirety, with Final Fantasy 14 players waiting till January 2022 to play it. The delay was due to the developers focusing on the release of the Endwalker expansion.

This year's All Saints' Wake is slated to begin on October 19, just one day after the release of Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.25, and runs until November 1. This year's quest theme is "March of the Mischievous Costume Cortege," and can be started by speaking to the Adventurer's Guild Investigator, located at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania, while the holiday is ongoing.

Upon completing the quest, there will be some rewards for Warriors of Light to collect. The first is an emote, called "Eat Pumpkin Cookie," which is self-explanatory as to what the player character will snack on. The second is a tabletop housing item called the "Caged Wisp," which can also be dyed in certain colors, and may fit in well with parts of Final Fantasy 14's housing community.

Finally, the reward that stands out the most will be the "Wake Doctor's Attire" for the fashionistas of Eorzea to enjoy. On the Lodestone promotional site, the set includes a Wake Doctor's Mask that is shown to be wearable on a Hrothgar character. This may be the same for Viera players as well, given that both the Viera and Hrothgar don't always have options for visible headgear glamours. However, All Saints' Wake is just a small taste of what's to come to Eorzea in Patch 6.25.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
