FIFA 23 is one of the most awaited sports games to be released in 2022. Fans will watch FIFA 23 closely as it signals the end of the iconic EA Sports/FIFA alliance. EA has announced that it will now release future products under the brand EA Sports FC, while FIFA is currently hunting for a publisher. FIFA 23 must ensure that all gamers have a distinctive experience that sets it apart from the other games in the series because there is so much riding on it.

The last title of the iconic football game series was officially revealed with a trailer in July 2022, and five more trailers have been released since then. The latest trailers of the game have focused on the different game modes and revealed information about newly-added features of FIFA Pro Clubs and career mode. Fans are very excited about the game's release and pre-ordering it since it has been made available for pre-purchase. Recently, a few Indian gamers hit the jackpot, as they were able to pre-order the game with just a few cents.

The Twitter handle of Full Squad Gaming has posted an image of an email that has been sent by EA Sports to a customer who pre-ordered FIFA 23. According to the email, FIFA 23 was inadvertently offered for pre-purchase on the Epic Games Store at incorrect prices. EA acknowledged its mistake and hilariously described the blunder as an own goal. Reportedly, players were able to buy FIFA 23 for as low as $0.06 due to an error on the Epic Games Store.

EA Sports has stated that it will honor all purchases made at the incorrect price. The FIFA game series fans were surprised to hear this news and expressed their thoughts in the comments section. One FIFA fan emphasized that EA Sports is honoring the purchases made at incorrect price because it legally has to.

FIFA 23 uses the same pre-order system as FIFA 22, and thus offers both a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition for pre-order. The Ultimate Edition is only available on digital platforms and comes with exclusive player picks, free packs, and even some benefits for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team players. FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition pre-orderers will have access to the game three days ahead of the Standard Edition's release. FIFA 23 physical copies will be sold at retail locations worldwide, while digital versions should be accessible through the game marketplace on players' platform of choice.

There is still more than a month until the game releases, and many details are still unknown to the fans. As FIFA fans have no information regarding their favorite player's overall ratings, they are predicting the most significant rating downgrades and upgrades in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 releases on September 30 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
