There are thousands upon thousands of players in FIFA 22, all with varying attributes and ratings. One way that players differentiate is through Skill Moves, which separate the casual players from the more hardcore. Skill Moves range from 1-Star to 5-Star, and the higher the Skill Move rating, the more tricks a player can do.

While previous FIFA titles had more players with 5-Star Skill Moves, the number has been decreased significantly in more recent FIFA titles. In FIFA 22, for instance, there are not that many players with 5-Star Skill Moves, but it's usually a sign they are a good player. Players could have fun only signing 5-Star Skill Move players in a Career Mode challenge — here are the best options for such a team.

Updated on January 13th, 2022 by Ritwik Mitra: FIFA 22 is another entry in the extremely popular sports video game franchise that players can't wait to get their hands upon. Whether it be the addictive nature of Career Mode or the intensely competitive FIFA Ultimate Team, these games are jam-packed with content that's bound to be a blast. A big part of what makes FIFA great is experimenting around with players who have 5-Star Skill Moves. Here are some of the best ones in this regard.

15 Thiago Alcantara

Thiago

Thiago's high-profile move to Liverpool has been a bit of a mixed bag. However, before his latest injury, it was clear that the talented midfielder had finally found his groove in this amazing squad.

The fact that Liverpool have struggled since his injury shows just how critical he is to the success of his team, and would be a valuable element in any player-controlled squad. This 86-rated player will leave players in the dust with his impressive footwork and skills.

14 Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford

Rashford is one of the most popular footballers around, coming up from the United developmental squad and breaking into the first team with amazing results. He's easily one of the brightest prospects in this star-studded squad.

The fact that he has 5-Star Skill Moves makes him a ton of fun to use in FIFA as well. His immense pace means that he'll leave most players in the dirt and get a golden opportunity to score more often than not.

13 Memphis Depay

Memphis Depay

He might be part of a Barcelona squad that's struggling right now, but there's no denying the fact that Memphis Depay is a great player who deserves a ton of credit. He's turned his career around since his time at United and is definitely a crucial attacking player in Barcelona's squad.

He's a great well-rounded player who can blast through defenses with his competent stats. With Barcelona trying its hardest to deal with its financial shortcomings, it's possible that Depay can break onto the scene in a resounding fashion after the club becomes more stable.

12 Hakim Ziyech

Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea signed a bunch of superstars during a transfer window that was possibly glittering with promise during the start of the 2020-21 season. One of the many high-profile signings they made was Hakim Ziyech.

His passing and dribbling are two of his strongest assets and should be made the most of in every game. Using this player properly is key to securing success in any game of FIFA.

11 Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic AC Milan

Zlatan is a legendary football player whose legacy has been developing for the past two decades. He's a no-nonsense player who always delivers when it matters.

His years might be catching up to him, but he's still a reliable striker who can score goals at a moment's notice. As long as players make the most of his shooting abilities, they'll have a great time with him in their team.

10 Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino is an 85 rated Centre Forward who plays for Liverpool. He has been a staple of Premier League teams on FUT for a number of years, owing to his proficiency in real-life playing for the Liverpool team.

With 78 Shooting, 79 Passing, and 89 Dribbling, players will have a lot of fun using Firmino in a False 9 position. However, they should avoid playing him as an out-and-out Striker due to his low Pace. To get the best out of Firmino, set him up to Stay Central and Stay Up Front. Players could also convert him into a CAM through a Development Plan on Career Mode or Position Change card on FUT.

9 Ousmane Dembele

Ousmane Dembele is an 83 rated Right Winger who plays for FC Barcelona in the LaLiga Santander. He's a relatively new superstar, but is popular on FIFA due to his high agility and dribbling capabilities, decent striker stats, and unbelievable Pace.

Players who rely on counter-attacking strategies and have a good knowledge of 5-star Skill Moves will be able to walk through plenty of defences using Dembele. Despite Dembele's base position as a Right Winger, players could use either a Development Plan in Career Mode or Position Change card in FUT to turn him into a Striker.

8 Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is an 86 rated Center Midfielder who plays for Manchester United in the Premier League. Pogba is a highly capable and physical-based Center-Mid who makes up for his slow Pace by being highly capable on the ball, especially for FIFA 22 skills.

Pogba isn't only useful for high skills. He has great Passing as well as decent Shooting, making him a capable box-to-box midfielder for players who are confident in retaining possession despite a lack of Pace in the player they are using. While he's currently a Premier league player, it looks likely that he'll be part of Series A team builds in the future.

7 Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is an 87 rated Right Midfielder for Manchester United in the Premier League. Sancho has excelled for years in the Bundesliga, and a lot of players were happy to see him come to the Premier League for FIFA 22, especially those who typically use BPL team builds in Ultimate Team.

Sancho is quick on the ball with an impressive 81 Pace, and his 91 Dribbling coupled with 5-star Skill Moves means that the best players on FIFA 22 can have a lot of fun with this player. He can retain possession and walk through defenses with ease.

6 Riyad Mahez

riyad-mahrez-football

This 86 rated Right Winger plays for Manchester City in the Premier League. Mahrez is an agile, quick player who can make passes with pinpoint accuracy or skill up multiple defenders as he cuts inside to take a shot for himself.

Mahrez isn't the most physical player available, so it's important that players using him ensure that they are giving themselves lots of space and not allowing defenders to get too close; as they will often be able to bully Mahrez off the ball. Nevertheless, he's a great 5-star Skill Move Winger who is a joy to use.

5 Joao Felix

Joao Felix is an 83 rated Center Forward who plays for Athletico Madrid in the LaLiga Santander. Felix has great Dribbling and Pace as well as his 5-star Skill Moves, making him a more athletic Center Forward than players such as Roberto Firmino.

Felix lacks in his Passing and Physical stats, so players could keep in mind that they need to give themselves a decent amount of space and opt for taking shorter, easier passes to continue the flow of their game and avoid being dispossessed. Felix is a great player for La Liga team builds.

4 Angel Di Maria

Angel Di Maria is older than some of the other 5-Star Skill Move Wingers available on FIFA 22, but he is definitely still a viable choice. With an overall rating of 87, he is still as rapid as a player could hope for from a Winger and has extremely high agility, allowing him to cut-and-weave between whole defenses, leaving them wide open for an attack. He is one of the highest-rated forwards in FIFA 22.

His Passing and Dribbling stats allow him to get out of tight situations and move the ball onto other teammates, allowing a flow of play to remain uninterrupted. Players should be aware of his low Physical stat, which means he can be dispossessed quite easily if defenders get too close.

3 Kylian Mbappe

Professional footballer Kylian Mbappe.

Kylian Mbappe is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world right now, and certainly one of the best Strikers. With a rating of 91, he plays for PSG in the Ligue 1. His 97 Pace, 92 Dribbling, and 88 Shooting make him lethal on the ball, and skillers will have even more fun with him.

Mbappe's Physical isn't the highest, but still high enough to compete enough with defenders who do manage to catch him. Players that are quick enough will find it easy to skill up defenders then get away. On Career Mode and FUT, he is worth pursuing, but bear in mind that he is not a cheap player to sign.

2 Neymar da Silva Santos Jr

Neymar has been considered one of the best players in the world for some years now. In FIFA 22 he remains one of the best, with 5-star Skill Moves that complement his impressive stats. He has 91 Pace and 94 Dribbling, making one of the most agile players around and suitable for all of the best career mode teams.

A 91 rated Left Winger who plays for PSG in Ligue 1, he is well-suited to teams in Career Mode with a high budget, or for players who are assembling a Ligue 1 team build in Ultimate Team.

1 Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world and has been for a good many years. A Striker at 91 rating, he plays for Manchester United in the Premier League. All of his stats are unbelievably high, with 87 Pace, 93 Shooting, and 88 Dribbling that makes him a nightmare for any defender as he is one of the highest rated players.

Players should practice their 5-star Skill Moves with Ronaldo first, due to his overall quality. More experienced skillers will find that they are able to retain possession and score lots of goals with Ronaldo.
