Fifa 21  includes 17,000 players across 30 leagues. Each of these players has a card in Ultimate Team that can be bought and traded on the transfer market. The Ultimate Team transfer market is based almost entirely on supply and demand. EA has done a better job of preventing players from manipulating the market in recent years by adding automatic influxes of players to the market for buy it now prices ("BIN"). However, the highest-rated player cards in the game are priced depending on the number of cards that are found in packs.

The higher-rated a card is, the lower the probability that players will pack the card. As a result, the highest-rated team of the year ("TOTY") and icon cards are so rare that only several dozen of the cards will be listed on the market at any time. Because there are only a handful of TOTY and icon cards on the market, players can set the price as high as they want. What results are player cards that cost more than 6,000,000 coins. Despite EA's contested loot box fine and ongoing scripting lawsuit, FUT gamers are still buying packs. The following are the most expensive cards in FUT ranked from the lowest BIN price to the highest.

10 Ruud Gullit 90 CM (6.19 Million Coins)

Ruud Gullit

The Icon Gullit may be expensive, but the card is incredible. Gullit's 90 rated card has 26 out of 29 stats in the 80s or above. All of Gullit's base stats are above 80, and the card can do everything on the pitch. The Dutch legend is 6'3" tall with four star skills and a five star weak foot. With high/medium work rates, FUT clubs can play him at any position from striker to CDM. FUT clubs that have an extra six million coins lying around should give the card a try.

9 Ronaldinho 94 LW (6.3 Million Coins)

ronaldinho-barcelona

The 94 rated LW card is by far the best Ronaldinho icon card. The Brazilian magician has pace, shooting, dribbling, and passing stats in the 90s. The card also has 83 strength and 83 stamina, which is incredible for a player with high pace and dribbling. There is no question that Ronaldinho is one of the best players to use in the game. With five star skills and 486 base stats, players that can afford the card will dominate in Ultimate Team. Ronaldinho's price fluctuates between five and seven million coins. Players that purchase him for five million coins or less will likely make a profit on the player.

8 Johan Cruyff 94 CF (6.8 Million Coins)

Cryuff

Johan Cruyff is currently priced at few hundred thousand coins more that Ronaldinho, and for good reason. Cruyff's 94 rated card has four base stats in the 90s with double five star attributes. Defenders struggle against the famed center forward from Holland. Cruyff is blisteringly quick, has air tight ball control, and can shoot from anywhere past the mid line. The only downside to Cruyff is his strength at 68. However, the card's 80 balance and 96 ball control will make Cruyff feel stronger in game.

7 Eusébio 93 CF (6.9 Million Coins)

Eusebio

Eusébio is yet another versatile attacker with a ridiculous price tag. The Portuguese number 9 has all six shooting stats in the 90s, which is better than all of the previous players in this list. Eusébio can shoot from anywhere, and with a five star weak foot, opposing goalkeepers will have no chance. The 93 rated card will set players back at least five million coins. Impatient traders will have to spend almost seven million coins for the card.

6 TOTY Kylian Mbappé 97 ST (7.23 Million Coins)

mbappe-league-one

Mbappé's 97 rated card has 99 pace, and team of the season is still months away. FUT players should pray that they never have to attempt to contain the French speedster. The card has 99 sprint speed, 99 acceleration, 99 positioning, 99 finishing, 99 agility, and 99 reactions. If TOTY Mbappé shows up in the pre-match loading screen, opposing teams may as well just quit and queue up a new match.

5 Ronaldo 94 ST (8.15 Million Coins)

Ronaldo Brazil 2

Ronaldo's middle-tier card will cost players around eight million coins. The 94 rated striker is fast, agile, strong, and can shoot with double five star attributes. Players that are lucky enough to use the card will understand why it is so expensive. Ronaldo could theoretically score a rainbow flick longshot from his own net. There is honestly nothing more a player could want in a striker, but somehow his 96 rated card is even better.

4 Pelé 98 CAM (8.3 Million Coins)

Pele

Pelé's icon cards have been the best and most expensive players in the game since legend cards were introduced to the franchise in Fifa 14. The 98 rated CAM card is a significant upgrade from the 95 rated card in 2014. With four base stats in the 90s and five-star skills, players will dominate with the card. The only reason Pelé is not at the bottom of this list is his mediocre strength and his height at 5'8" tall.

3 Ruud Gullit 94 CF (8.6 Million Coins)

Ruud Gullit 2

The highest-rated Gullit card is the most adaptable player in Fifa Ultimate Team. The principal difference between the 90 rated and 94 rated Gullit is his defending ability. The 94 rated card has amazing defending traits, and is better equipped to play in the defensive midfield. Up front, Gullit will be a menace with 80 interceptions and 95 shot power. Gullit will win the ball back, run the pitch, and score the goal. Unfortunately, at more than eight million coins, few players will get the chance to use the card.

2 TOTY Cristiano Ronaldo 98 ST (9.09 Million Coins)

Christiano Ronaldo

Christiano Ronaldo's TOTY card has seven in-game stats that are maxed out at 99. CR7 will win almost every header with 99 heading and 99 jumping. Additionally, with 98 sprint speed, 80 balance, and 90 strength, Cristiano Ronaldo is the best card in the game so far. However, due to the way the market works, the Brazilian Ronaldo is the most expensive card in Fifa Ultimate Team.

1 Ronaldo 96 ST (13.7 Million Coins)

Ronaldo Brazil

Ronaldo's 96 rated card is the least packed card in Ultimate Team, and it will cost players more than 13.7 million coins. Ronaldo is one of the best players in the game, but 13 million coins is an absurd price for a card in Ultimate Team. There are several players in this list that are half the price and can be just as effective in-game. At the moment, the 96 Rated card is not even listed in the transfer market.
