Final Fantasy 14, like many MMOs, puts a big emphasis on player identity and their ability to customize their character. The big difference is that many Final Fantasy 14 players become more invested in their character than they would in other games. It becomes an extension of themselves and representative of not only their personality but that of their virtual self.

One thing that Final Fantasy 14 doesn't lack is character customization options. Much like real life, the virtual world of Eorzea is one of trends and staying fashionable. While clothing and glamour are very important aspects of that, another key ingredient in a character's personality is their hairstyle. There are plenty of default options for players, but Final Fantasy 14 also offers several more through special vendors and events.

How to Get The Adventure Hairstyle

One of the more unique hairstyles out there is the Adventure Hair. The reason for its uniqueness is that it changes appearance depending on the gender of the character. Males will get a medium-length haircut with bangs falling over a quarter of the face in a very emo-friendly fashion. Females will see a longer haircut with a part down the middle. The hair is pulled into a ponytail that rests gently on a shoulder with a bow adorning it. The only real downside to this hairstyle is that it can't be used by Viera or Hrothgar.

When compared to some other items at the Manderville Gold Saucer, 14 MGP is a drop in the bucket. There are several ways to earn this and all can be done in a single visit. The first is to play the Mini Cactpot. Getting a perfect scratch-off can net players 10,000 MGP.

There is also the weekly fashion show, which with a guide, can easily reward 60,000 MGP with 10,000 of that just being participation. There's also the weekly Jumbo Cactpot, Doman Mahjong, Triple Triad, and Chocobo Racing. No matter what option they choose, there are several entertaining ways to earn the requisite 14 MGP.

How to Use The Adventure Hairstyle

Once purchased, players will need to use the Modern Aesthetics - Adventure item in their inventory to add it to their list of applicable styles. From there, players will need to visit an inn in any of the major cities and use the Aesthetician Bell in the room. For a mere 2,000 Gil, players will be able to change hairstyle, hair color, eyebrows, lip color, facial features, tattoos and colors, earrings and colors, and face paint. The Aesthetician is a great way to change things up if players are finding their character is starting to feel a little stale.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
