The Xbox Series X/S officially released yesterday and pre-order deliveries are still going out to excited fans waiting to unbox their new console. Comparisons between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X continue to rage on despite the PlayStation 5 not being available until tomorrow. One Xbox Series X owner grabbed his new console from the mail and discovered that he had received a message from a PlayStation fan and learned many people fuel the console wars, even a FedEx delivery driver.

"PlayStation is better" was written right on the FedEx delivery label in the recipient and date fields. While many people are still waiting for their new consoles, Reddit user "Smash1031" got his Xbox Series X, but was surprised to find out that the console is inferior to PlayStation, according to the anonymous delivery driver. While "Smash1031" most likely got a little chuckle from the note, many people who pre-ordered the Xbox Series X have had different experiences.

The pre-order cycle for the Xbox Series X was extremely chaotic and for people who secured the pre-order, the problems may be persisting through deliveries. Many fans are receiving notices that the Xbox Series X/S deliveries may be delayed and numerous stories are emerging about delivery troubles with the new console.

Other fans are reporting individual stories of the mistreatment of their consoles by delivery drivers. One fan shared their experience with a delivery driver seemingly almost taking off with a new Xbox Series X that had been marked delivered. The owner claimed that they chased down the driver after the delivery had been confirmed, but no package had been left.

Fans will continue to debate whether the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X is better until the announcement of the next consoles and the infamous console wars have raged on since Microsoft and Sony's original consoles. Both consoles have similar capabilities and various features and each has aspects that may draw fans in more than the other. Some fans may be extremely excited for the PlayStation 5 controller's haptic feedback triggers, while other fans may be extremely impressed with the Quick Resume feature for the Xbox Series X.

Regardless of what features the new consoles have, many fans will pick a side and hold their ground that their console of choice is superior. Some next-gen features may be important to some and useless to others. Competition between brands produces motivation to create a better product, so notes like "PlayStation is better" fuel the console wars and keep fans engaged in discussions about the consoles' capabilities.
