On May 28, Nordan “Rain” Shat tweeted that he had been kicked out of the FaZe Clan gaming house, even though he’s the co-owner of the organization. While it's not certain exactly why this happened, fans are speculating that the action on the part of the esports organization might be related to Rain’s mental health struggles.

The past few days have been a turbulent time in the esports space. Yesterday, TSM Zexrow was banned from the Fortnite tournament held by Ninja and fined one month’s salary. While fans understand that was the result of his vulgar language, the reason for Rain’s removal from the FaZe Clan house is still speculation.

Before Rain was kicked out of the gaming house, he had posted a video of himself in the process of a mental breakdown. He said he wasn’t being paid by FaZe Clan and that the only money he was getting was through sponsorships. Shortly after the video started gaining attention, Rain took it down. That didn’t stop the influx of positive, encouraging Tweets to the YouTuber. Other fans posed questions to FaZe Clan on Twitter asking how Rain wasn’t getting any money from the gaming organization, especially as the co-owner.

On May 28, Rain posted on his Twitter that he was kicked out of the FaZe gaming house. He said that the blame was not on the FaZe organization and that the fault was “100%” his own. Rain went on to say that FaZe still cares about him but he has “a disorder where I can’t accept love.” After he puts this behind him, he plans to focus on his YouTube channel and business ventures while improving himself as a person.

Fans have continued to show him their support on Twitter. FaZe Banks, the other co-owner of the clan, fired back at a fan who accused the organization of removing him from the house due to Rain’s mental health issues, saying that the public doesn’t understand even one percent of what Rain was going through. FaZe Clan as an organization hasn’t made a public statement about Rain getting removed from the gaming house.

May 29 marks the 10th Anniversary of FaZe Clan, and while the organization is celebrating, there’s a bittersweet feeling surrounding the event. FaZe is not unfamiliar with Twitter scandals around the organization, but this one seemed to end with no hard feelings between Rain and those within the Clan. Hopefully, this step can start him on the path to getting the help he needs.
