While FaZe Clan is getting ready for Call of Duty League Championships, it seems that the organization has over things on its mind as well. Earlier today, the organization welcomed its newest member to the group. This member is already moderately well-known throughout the world, but not necessarily through his gaming skills, though they may also be impressive as well.

It has been awhile since FaZe Rain left the organization, and since then, FaZe Clan has been recruiting new members to join the group. While the newest addition to the group's role is currently unclear, it seems that Bronny James, the son of NBA Legend LeBron James, is joining the FaZe Clan.

According to a recent Twitter post from the organization, Bronny's addition to the group was announced with a video. The video showcased his abilities as both a gamer and as a high school basketball player. Despite being only 15 years old, Bronny has made a name for himself on and off the basketball court. Bronny's currently has 4.3 million followers on his TikTok account, 5.4 million on Instagram, and a little over 300,000 followers on his Twitch channel.

Bronny has shown off his skills on these platforms in popular games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite, coupling his gaming skills with his basketball abilities to make a slam dunk in content creation. While Lebron James may use his time off the court to invest his money, Bronny has been investing in creating a connection between video gamers and traditional athletics.

Bronny isn't the only recent NBA-related pick up for FaZe Clan. The organization has also signed two-time NBA All-Star Ben Simmons as an ambassador and investor for its brand as it grows outside of video gaming. While FaZe Clan hasn't announced what Bronny's specific role will be in with the gaming group, it appears that he may continue to do what he has already been doing — creating more content with various games while he sports the FaZe Clan logo. Some fans have complained about this signing, saying that the organization is looking more for clout than for skill, but Bronny is bringing both to the table for FaZe Clan.

With two big NBA names signed so closely together, many are curious to see what FaZe Clan is planning. Signing Bronny is a great move for the FaZe brand, and it'll be interesting to watch where he goes from here as he continues to improve his gaming skills online in games like Call of Duty: Warzone and on the court.
