Fans of Fate/Grand Order have something new to enjoy on the musical side of things while they wait for new content and new events to come to FGO. It’s been announced that singer and voice actress Maaya Sakamoto’s newest single, “Yakudo (Active Motion),” is the new opening song for the popular mobile JRPG, and will be available to purchase digitally outside of the game tomorrow.

Said announcement was made on Sakamoto’s official website today, detailing how the single is a collaboration with the rock band Yourness, with bandmember Shohei Koga expressing excitement over being able to collaborate with her. In-game, it now accompanies the opening video for the second part of Fate/Grand Order’s Lostbelt storyline, which can be seen below.

Yakudo is the third theme song Sakamoto has provided FGO, following “Shikisai,” which served as Fate/Grand Order's original theme song, and “Gyakko,” which was used for the first part of the Lostbelt storyline. Additionally, she has voiced multiple characters throughout the game and its different adaptations, including Alexander, Jeanne d'Arc/Jeanne d'Arc Alter, Leonardo da Vinci, and Shiki Ryogi.

Sakamoto is set to provide additional music to FGO, as she is also performing the theme song for the upcoming movie Fate/Grand Order - Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot. This adaptation is set to be split between two movies, with the first, titled Fate/Grand Order Wandering;Agateram, originally set to come out this month. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, its premiere has been delayed to December.

Fate/Grand Order is available for iOS and Android devices.
