The island of Yara is big with lots to discover, which means that there are plenty of secrets for Far Cry 6 players to unearth as they play. While that typically means moving the story forward and learning more about the world, there’s also a selection of treasure, vehicles, and weapons for players to earn. However, not many Far Cry 6 weapons hold a candle to the primary weapon Urushi visually or functionally. For those looking to snag it for themselves, here’s where to find Urushi in Far Cry 6.

Keep in mind before setting out for Urushi that it’s in a late-game location, and therefore, there are going to be some challenging enemies to get through along the way. It’s best to try and snag the gun during the daytime, however, as it seems that fewer of Far Cry 6’s enemies spawn there when the sun is out. Notably, players can grab it at any time, they'll just need to dodge some challenging enemies along the way.

Where to Find Urushi in Far Cry 6

Urushi is located in the City of Esperanza, which is the district that the game’s primary antagonist, Anton Castillo, calls home. The first challenge is reaching the city, as it has restricted airspace that players will be immediately shot out of. Luckily, even in the early game players can fly as close as possible to the airspace, then use Far Cry 6’s wingsuit to carry them a few thousand meters closer. They’ll then be within spitting distance of the city proper.

Once in Esperanza, head down to the docks. One of the docks will be a restricted location, which is the correct spot to grab Urushi. There’s a building at the end of the dock with a strange wall facing out towards the bay. Behind the wall is a pile of crates, and next to one of the crates is a Yaran Contraband Chest. Urushi is located inside of the chest.

Urushi is a formidable rifle. It has a suppressor and the ability to heal the player when they deal damage, making it a valuable arrow in any quiver. Additionally, the weapon’s first shot after reloading will deal bonus damage, giving it a nice extra kick. The gun will have Armor Piercing Rounds attached to it as well, making it extra useful against heavily armored enemies. It’s worth noting that Urushi isn’t level-gated, so players can pick it up as early as they want to. The weapon's slick visuals are an added benefit.

Of course, Urushi is just one of the many unique weapons that Far Cry 6 has to offer. There are plenty of others that are hidden around the map, and some – like Far Cry 6’s Autocrat pistol – are even available from the tutorial island.

Far Cry 6 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
