Ubisoft's open-world franchises like Assassin's Creed have recently started to allow players the chance to play as either a male or female protagonist instead of being forced into mostly playing as a man. Fortunately, Far Cry 6 has the option as well, offering both a male and female version of the main character, Dani Rojas. The 25-year-old guerrilla fighter plays a significant role in the story this time around, and they are both fully voiced.
Sean Rey plays the male version of Dani, and Nisa Gunduz voices the female counterpart. Many Far Cry fans going into Far Cry 6 this weekend might want to know if the gender choice affects anything in-game or if there are different story outcomes. Luckily, it doesn't make a difference at the end of the day.
Male or Female Character in Far Cry 6: Which to Choose?
Both the male and female versions of Dani Rojas in Far Cry 6 have pretty much the same lines of dialogue. Choosing one over the other will not have any impact on the narrative side or the gameplay side. Although there's no need to worry about which to choose when it comes to the script, some people might end up favoring one voice actor over the other.
Some Far Cry 6 players might enjoy the story coming from a female perspective, and some might like the masculinity of the male character. Players should go in and choose the character they think fits best, and then they can always restart their game if the voice is not to their liking.
For those still on the fence about which protagonist to choose, keep in mind that many fans of Assassin's Creed Odyssey favored the female character over the male, simply because Kassandra's character had much more personality to her voice compared to Alexios; this could end up being the same case with Far Cry 6, but fans will just have to hear the actors themselves to decide.
