In Far Cry 6, there is a wide variety of weapons for players to choose from in their attempt to overthrow the Anton Castillo regime. Unlike previous titles in the Far Cry series, in Far Cry 6 there are a number of weapon subcategories for players to be aware of.

These categories include; standard, unique, resolver, and overclocked weapons. While players are likely to unlock several standard, unique, and resolver weapons as they progress through the game's storyline, overclocked weapons are significantly harder to come by, but are worth the effort to obtain.

Where To Find Overclocked Weapons

Players are able to obtain overclocked weapons from Lola's Blackmarket. The Blackmarket is found at each of the three main bases and is also where players can accept Special Operation Co-Op missions.

While the overclocked weapons may look similar to the customizable standard weapons that players can obtain, each weapon comes with a unique "overclocked" mod that significantly increases the weapon's overall damage.

Players should note that this "overclocked" mod has to be manually installed into the gun before players will notice any significant benefits to the weapon's overall damage output. To install the mod, players will need to acquire a set amount of valuable resources such as gunpowder and industrial circuits.

When inspecting the overclocked weapons available in the black market shop, players will notice that the weapons can only be purchased with "Moneda". The overclocked weapons vary in price, with the higher-end weapons costing 1000 Moneda and lower-end weapons costing 500 Moneda.

How To Get Moneda

Moneda is an in-game currency that can only be earned by completing the various Special Operations from Lola. In each of the special operations, players are tasked with obtaining the PG-240X military device. After obtaining the item, players must successfully extract with the item while preventing it from overheating.

Completing a special operation on normal difficulty will reward players with 150 Moneda. The completion reward increases depending on the level of difficulty that players set for the operation.

Players can also obtain additional Moneda in each special operation by finding the hidden caches in the mission. Players will typically find a clue to the stash's location in the starting area and will find the key to unlock it near the PG-240X's locations. Obtaining one of the hidden stashes in any of the special operations will also reward players with the Hidden Cash achievement/trophy.
