One of the more memorable aspects of the Far Cry series is all the different types of animals gamers can interact with, and Far Cry 6 brings back a fun extra feature. Players are able to summon some Far Cry 6 companions as teammates to fight against enemies, known in the game as amigos.
In Far Cry 5, there were only three types of companions with the lion, bear, and the dog. Now there are seven options gamers can choose from. Each has its own different uses that can distract enemies, perform stealth takedowns, or tank hits for the player.
These companions are scattered all over the map and have different requirements to unlock them. So for Far Cry 6 fans looking to quickly build up their team, here is how to to find all the amigos.
Guapo
Guapo is the crocodile amigo players will encounter first by playing through the story and reaching the "Juan of a kind" mission in Far Cry 6 at the beginning of the game.
Chorizo
Chorizo is the wiener dog ally in the game that uses its cuteness to distract enemies so players can sneak attack enemies. Chorizo can be unlocked by finishing the "Who's a Good Boy" and "Fetch Quest" missions, which can all be started near Costa Del Mar.
Chicharron
Chicharron is the rooster ally gamers can unlock in the Sierra Perdida region within El Este. Fans will need to complete the "Man's Best Enemy" mission within the Yaran storyline to add Chicharron to the party.
Boom Boom
Boom Boom is another dog gamers can add to their team, this time with the ability to tag enemies and loot items from dead bodies. Boom Boom can be unlocked by completing the "Boom or Bust" mission, which can be found in Balaceras after finding a note in the Villa Judia Hotel.
Oluso
Oluso is the stealthy panther amigo that can quickly take enemies out without alerting anyone nearby. After unlocking the "Triada's Blessings" mission, they will be tasked to find three relics and return to Oluwa Cave in Isla Santuario, near Gran Gruerro Mogotes. From there, they will fight a group of spectral panthers, with one of them being Oluso. First, defeat Oluso, and then it will join the team.
K-9000
These nest two Amigos can only be earned through the Far Cry 6 special edition. K-9000 will be unlocked on day one after completing "The Guerilla" mission for fans with the season pass when players first leave the island.
Champagne
Champagne is another big cat amigo that is part of the Ultimate Edition of Far Cry 6 with the season pass, specifically with the Vice Pack.
