One of these treasure hunts requires players to search for the infamous "Emerald Skull." This item is a massive find by Dr. Halfmain, who believes it gives an exciting look into the world of Far Cry 6.

Unfortunately, Admiral Benitez has requested to confiscate all of the treasure recovered from the archeological dig. Which, in turn, forced Halfmain to resort to secret methods to get it away from the Yanqui military. So for Far Cry 6 fans looking to retrieve the Emerald Skull, here is how to find it.

Starting the Hunt

Far Cry 6 Emerald Skull Treasure Hunt

To start, gamers need to find the note left by Dr. Halfmain in Concepcion, which is to the east of Conuco. This will give them a trail to follow to find the second clue.

Ominosa Cave

Players will then need to make their way west towards Ominosa Cave, which is towards the center of Conuco on the Far Cry 6 map. They'll know they are in the right area when they find an ominous cave opening of a face with fire for eyes.

Once inside, go across the wooden planks and gather all the collectibles and different notes left by archeologists. Then, follow along the path until there is a grapple point and climb up. There will be another one, but instead of going up, swing to the right, latch onto the other grapple point, and climb that one instead.

There will be a note that says the skull is in another cave. However, before leaving, go through the path on the left and slide down the incline. There will be a dead body holding a green object across some water. Pick up the "unlucky skull" and set off the grenade that drops for a quick shortcut out of the cave.

Turey Caves

For the last hidden location in Far Cry 6, head southwest to the Turey Caves in Conuco. This one will have a similar spooky cave opening with a rock face over the entrance. Head through the caves until fans reach the creepy statue with an open mouth. Present the unlucky skull to the statue, and the cave wall behind it should open.

Go up the staircase to the right up to the waterfall, and there will be a grapple point there. Jump across and present the Unlucky Skull to a similar statue at the cave entrance. By doing so, it'll lower the statues in the room down.

Jump down and head to the other side of the room where the new statue appeared and repeat the process. Then, head back up the same steps since the wall with the white symbol drawn will now open.

Go through the cave while minding the traps, and jump onto the platform with the statue holding the treasure box. Collect the reward to complete the hunt.

Far Cry 6 is available for PS4, PS5, PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
