The recently released Far Cry 6 is undoubtedly one of the biggest games to release in 2021. It's proving to be a hit with fans of the series offering lots of content and a vast open-world to explore.
As with most modern AAA games these days, players were given the option to preorder the Ultimate Edition or the Gold Editions of Far Cry 6. These more expensive editions include the remastered Far Cry: Blood Dragon, and three DLCs featuring the iconic Far Cry villains Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. Additionally, the Ultimate Edition includes content that adds additional missions to the island when playing the main campaign. Furthermore, there are additional outfits, amigos, weapons, and rides to obtain.
Claiming The Preorder Content in Far Cry 6
For those that preordered Far Cry 6, the bonus content will become available after playing through the story campaign operation called "The Guerrilla." This means that players will have to work a bit to get access to content. Thankfully, this mission isn't challenging at all. Here are the steps to complete the mission and obtain the bonus content:
- Operation 8 The Guerrilla automatically becomes available after completing the Libertad Rises mission.
- Approach and talk to Juan by heading to the marker. This will also unlock the Yaran Story called Supremacy.
- Head to the next marker and look through Juan’s store for upgrades.
- Collect the US Dogtag Charm near the workbench.
- Head to the next marker and speak to Clara.
- Watch the cutscene, and the mission will now be complete.
- All preorder items now become available.
Once the mission is complete, the game will notify the player that new content has been unlocked. Be sure to check out the Arsenal, Amigos, Rides, and Inventory screens in the menu.
Ultimate Preorder Bonuses
The expensive Ultimate Edition has a decent amount of content for players that can be accessed as soon as The Guerrilla mission has been completed.

Upcoming Paid DLCs
Perhaps the most interesting premium content will be the DLC episodes featuring some of the more well-known antagonists from the series. Each DLC will feature a new open-world adventure played from the perspective of Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. All are available as part of the Season Pass.
