Today Ubisoft showed off its planned post-launch content for the forthcoming release of Far Cry 5 with a brand new trailer. The Season Pass trailer goes over each of the three previously announced DLC releases included in the package: Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars, and Dead Living Zombies. Themed after war, space, and zombie shooters, respectively, Far Cry 5's Season Pass DLCs are certain to provide something for everyone.

Far Cry 5's first post-launch Season Pass DLC, Hours of Darkness, is set within the Vietnam War. This DLC will focus on stealth and survival gameplay, as the player invades a Viet-Cong camp to rescue prisoners of war. DLC 2, Lost on Mars, gives the player a jetpack and tasks them with defending a Mars base from a Martian Arachnid attack. Finally, there is Dead Living Zombies, which is a humorous riff on modern zombie horde shooters shared through 7 unique scenarios.

No final details regarding dates have been announced for each of Far Cry 5's DLC releases, but players can reserve their copies by purchasing the Season Pass for $29.99. The Season Pass is also bundled with the $89.99 Gold Edition ($99.99 Steelbook Edition) and Collector's Editions. But players can likely buy each DLC individually for a higher overall price.

In addition to the gameplay debut for each of Far Cry 5's DLC releases, the new trailer also features several additional announcements for Far Cry 5. Most exciting is the reveal of the Far Cry Arcade, a mode that features custom creations from the community and Ubisoft. Far Cry Arcade will allow players to create both single-player and multiplayer maps and modes from a huge variety of in-game assets. And best of all, it'll be available starting with Far Cry 5's launch.

Other exciting post-launch goodies include Far Cry 5 Live Events, which update the game with new challenges that deliver unique rewards like vehicle and weapon skins. And there's also the free Far Cry 3 Classic game that comes with all purchases, though it'll be delivered to Season Pass holders four weeks prior to other players. Beyond that, Far Cry 5 will feature no other microtransactions or loot crates.

Far Cry 5 players can look forward to much more content being available for the game post-launch, whether they purchase the Season Pass or not.
