As anyone who has played Far Cry 5 can attest, Hope County, Montana has plenty of interesting sights to see. And one of the most interesting is a prepper stash hidden inside of a haunted house.

The haunted house prepper stash in Far Cry 5 can be found at O'Hara's Haunted House, located right inside Faith's region at the Henbane River. It's located northwest of Dead Man's River, and east of Fall's End. Upon arrival, players can read the note on the barn to initiate the prepper stash mission, which calls for them to restore power to the barn door.

The power switch is actually located in the attic of the adjacent home. To reach it, climb the scaffolding outside of the house and crawl through the window. Once inside, push the switch and then just go through the barn door. Walk through the haunted house attraction (if you dare), and at the end there will be piles of cash to collect, along with an interesting note and some perk point magazines.

If players read the note located at the end of the O'Hara's Haunted House, they may notice that it is apparently written by a clown. This is just one of the references to Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King's It hidden in Far Cry 5, and it will be interesting to see if any more are discovered.

In the meantime, fans should be sure to hunt down the other prepper stashes located throughout Far Cry 5. While O'Hara's Haunted House treats players to an interesting location, a stack of cash, and a clever nod to Stephen King's It, others offer even more important bonuses. For example, there is a prepper stash mission called Hangar Pains that will net players with a free plane that they can spawn at any hangar in the game, which makes getting around Hope County a lot easier.

Far Cry 5 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
